Dems are the singing, Trump is the monster truck tires. Neither is going to work, you should have said "I wouldn't hire either mechanic". Perhaps the American people should demand better, rather than defaulting to partisanship and getting mediocrity (or worse) in return.

At first I thought your post was nonsense but then after thinking about it, you are right. The left does want to take citizen's guns away, they do want to rob the rich to give to the poor, and they do want gayness to be very acceptable everywhere, including young children to change genders and dress in opposite sex clothing. While these later things shouldn't be discriminated against, they should also not be accepted as normal behavior and encouraged.

Could some half way intelligent republican please take Trump aside and explain to him that he needs to open the government so he understands how a compromise works and bragging about doing it is not going to help him get his way.

I think some half way intelligent republican, any republican and explain one simple fact to djt. He needs to understand that giving back things he took away is not compromise and he should know that he has to have an actual plan before it can be funded. It can be: "maybe a wall" or a "fence" or "steel slats" … "whatever". I know he, and his followers, think nearly 6 billion dollars is tRump change (tRump/chump … samo, samo) but to some Americans that sounds like real money to us. Maybe if he could define what he want's it for … that would be a start.

actually, you're thinking that if a person is bullied and doesn't budge they're not negotiating. that's where you're not understanding how real negotiations work. not budging is critical for the best negotiators when it's called for.

Trump puts DACA recipients in danger, offers temporary hold on that danger in exchange for what he wants. Also, he's being blocked on DACA right now by courts, so this is not something he actually has leverage on at the moment.

That's not how ****ing compromise works.

She has zero incentive to make a counter offer. Trump is a horrible negotiator and she'll sit tight until he breaks.

You guys should have never elected a man who can't get a loan at a US bank. That was a glaring red flag that he's a horrible negotiator and a crook.

You also should be mad at Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter. They're the ones pulling his strings on this deal.
