The Democratic Party clearly displays an abhorrent lack of civility because major players, like Maxine Waters, openly call for disruption and incivility while virtually every Party leader goes along with it, voicing absolutely no criticism of the outrageous antics of their fellow Democrats.

"Civility" will be a rare and peculiar thing in politics from now to forever. I guarantee you that if you name a period in american politics I can find a politician or a newspaper piece from the time complaining about the outbreak of invicility. People will continue to complain about how those "others" are incivil just as they will complain about those young people aren't responsible or how they listen to bad music. It's a big show. Civility in politics is a big shining star up in the sky that we can reach for, getting closer and closer, but will never quite reach and eventually if you get too high up we lose our balance and fall further an further away for a period of time. The only thing anyone is ever sure of is that it's "them" that are lacking in civility.

  • - GOP Rep. Sensenbrenner (Wisconsin) publicly mocked Mrs. Obama's "large ass".
  • - FoxNews "slut-shamed" the Obama daughters for their attire?
  • - when the GOP Rep from Colorado called President Obama a "tar baby" at public rallies, and even at a lie, televised debate, back in 2011?
