Bwahahaha... If the Democrats are defending the constitution they sure are not being fair about a process that guarantees each of us due process.. Why can't the Republicans call their own witnesses without Democratic approval? Why would those subpeoned be denied counsel in the star chamber?

The Democrats made sure the process was corrupt from the get-go and stacked the rules in the Democrats' favor. They wouldn't even let the Republicans have the power of subpoena or right to call their own witnesses on Day one of the Schiff-show, so pocket the spiel on "truth" for another day.

Not one of you has even attempted to make a real legal argument or produce evidence that the founders envisioned a Chief Executive trying to extort a leader of another country for personal political gain.
Allow that, and it’s only a matter of time before Presidential candidates start auctioning off their influence to the highest bidders, policy be damned. That’s apparantly what you think is “consitutional”
Then there’s the due process charade. Due process occurs at trial. There is no due process in hearings, as no one is in legal jeopardy. This tired talking point is typically ridiculous and dishonest.
The hearings function as a grand jury hearing. Not only is there no requirement that witnesses have council, but it is not typically done. Witnesses appear without council and have to answer all questions short of the Fifth Amendment.
If you’re going to parrot talking points, at least take the trouble to bother and find out if any of them have any relevance or accuracy first. I know right wingers don’t usually bother. You all just parrot whatever came out of your AM radio or Fox newsmodels at any given moment.
And, as many people have pointed out to you multiple times, the GOP wrote the rules the Committee is using. So if you don’t like the fact that the Ranking Member can’t subpoena without the acquiescence of the majority or the committee, just remember that it was the GOP that wrote those rules, when they had control. As I noted, you’ve been told this before. But you keep repeating bogus nonsense.
As for the truth. Your post is so larded with misleading, dishonest and false claims that it makes a mockery of the very idea that Trumpsters are even slightly interested in truth.
Trump isn’t. He knows that the truth isn’t on his side, Taht’s why he blocks witnesses, lies, blusters, and tried to hide the documents.
