Bernie yes, Biden no

By saying qualified, I didn't mean she didn't have experience. I meant she wasn't any good with her experience. Using your equating greatness to experience, and me using a baseball analogy, some would think the Miami Marlins are qualified as baseball operations because they've had a goodly amount of experience.

You lied about my post. I did not equate greatness to experience. You wrote badly and then put what you meant to say into my post.

Who is advocating "socialism"? Are you lying about Democrats/Bernie, who are not for "socialism" but are for in many cases Democratic Socialism and some 'socialist' policies as every American I know is?

I'd probably stop trying to use the term "democratic socialism", because it isn't accurate, and still has the word "socialism" in it, so it triggers anyone right of center. although, it is Bernie's fault for using the word for himself.

"social democracy" is the more accurate term, where Bernie would be called a "social democrat". that's what places like Norway and Finland and Denmark are, more than anything, and the types of policies Bernie and AOC are pushing for.

it won't help, because the conservatives are already completely dishonest and brainwashed anyway, but at least it'll be more accurate.

While Biden's biggest issues are issues from his past, Bernies issues are fresh and frankly problematic. He has seen his political position as one of having to move farther Left than the rest of the Left. That is the only rational answer to a position giving violent felon inmates the right to vote. Frankly that is flat crazy and that Bernie spews this nonsense under the Dem banner helps nothing. It just feeds the narrative that could lead to a general Dem defeat.

Bernie is getting real close to "go away Bernie" land with that one.

No, he does not think he 'has to move farther left' than anyone else. He has his views.

You disagree with him. He's right, you're wrong. That's all there is to it.

The post I responded to didn't say "Democratic Socialism", it said "socialism". Otherwise, I agree with you about the term being a bit inaccurate and confusing. That's a problem with our language - we have bad words to try to discuss the issues that aren't accurate, including "capitalism" which means everything from a mom and pop store to the Koch brothers polluting to Wall Street scams.

Bernie hasn't moved at all. Bernie has literally been saying all of the exact same things he says now since the 80s and early 90s. The issue of giving felons the right to vote is an issue that is at play in several states (for instance, Florida just voted to reinstate voting rights to felons after release), so it's a topic of conversation - and when asked about it, Bernie gave his position. Bernie wasn't just walking around yelling to people on the streets that he wanted to give rapists the right to vote or something.

America became great because its founders limited government and honored God. America is being transformed into a third world crap nation by politicians seeking to give the government major control and authority over large portions of the American economy and the American people. If the socialism label is a problem, just step back a few paces and look at the big picture without the labels.

Really, I don't praise Bernie's absurd level of consistency and might even find criticism of it, but he has it.

I'm in favor of politicians growing, evolving and accepting of some change - even if it's likely not principled but practical if it's in the right direction, like Obama on gay marriage. Bernie doesn't seem to do that almost at all - but luckily, he's gotten it right for decades so he hadn't needed to change it. I've never seen a more 'consistent' politician. Something many seem to praise, wrongly in my view. There's 'good' consistency and 'bad' consistency. I like Bernie's, though.

You ignored my question and are spouting nonsense.

yeah, I probably wouldn't want someone who is 30-40 years old who has never changed their views, but at 70+, you've been around long enough that there's probably not a whole lot you haven't seen, especially seeing as he's also been in government for over 25 years. and he has changed up some points a bit, obviously whenever new information comes out - like the more recent studies on universal healthcare. And he keeps up with the info, so that he can use it to reinforce his position. I'm sure if he was pointed out to be completely wrong on something, he'd probably try to fix that.

I'm sure he would.

He hasn't been wrong yet.

I don't see people saying that, except for Trump himself, who couldn't handle the fact that he lost the popular vote, and came up with the far-fetched and absurd claim that illegal aliens voted by the millions.

russia collusion russia collusion.

people have been screaming it for 2 years now.
nope no collusion or anything else.

Actually, the person screaming that was trump - Democrats were saying to investigate.

"anything else" - dozens of people charged, dozens of charges, many convictions, a huge documentation of massive Russian interference, documentation of trump serving Russia's agenda, and clear evidence of 10 or more crimes of obstruction of justice.

the FBI knew a year and a half in there was no evidence.
it was a farce.

you don't know what you are talking about please see the mueller report.

no collusion, no coordination
no obstruction.

you can keep parroting lies or educate yourself on facts.
i prefer facts.

No, you don't. You might as well say the Starr report said Clinton had no extra-marital sexual activity for how badly you are lying about the Mueller report.
