When I was in college, someone was cleaning out their basement, and gave me two 5 gallon buckets of honey that he was going to throw away. I gave them to someone who was a mead maker (in exchange for his product)

Lady Bum started making her own wines, meads, and cordials about 15 years ago....in addition, she has learned to make her own tonics, cough syrups, balm, tinctures, etc.

I aint gonna lie; her first batch of mead was a challenge to get past the 'ol gag reflex.....in 15 years she has come a loooooooong ways. ;)

I think its more fusel oils for brewing at high temps.

For all liquor yes however certain types like wines produce more no matter the temp, but instead will produce higher than beer amounts at proper temps, and create something undrinkable when brewed too far above what the yeasts are meant for.

Bourbon collector and beer fan over here. Wine is great. But its a huge world and too easy to go down the rabbit hole to super expensive bottles that you drink in a night.
