Are there unseen problems with hart beat laws?

How many states are passing so called heart beat laws. Making a fetus a "person" at the time of the first heart beat. So, what about all of the other laws this might effect. Like, can you use the "person" to claim a deduction on your state taxes, even though not born until after the first of the year? What about collecting child support from the father of the "child" as soon as they become a "person" under the law. What about collecting all kinds of state financed programs. There are unseen problems brought about when you make a fetus after the first heart beat a person under the law. I know, this is all about ending Roe, but some times there are unexpected consequences to making laws. This might be one.

What is the accepted measure to declare death? Brain activity? Maybe when a baby has brain activity it can be declared alive.
 
A person is dead if they have no heart beat and aren't breathing.

It's unConstitutional because of the violation of women's Constitutional rights, period.

If you make a law(s), dont you have to enforce them? In a manner that is Constitutional?

Very good point.

It's a physiological function we share will most other animals. What makes that 'special' or 'special enough' to override women's Constitutional rights? Like 'our right to a secure person (bodily sovereignty), due process, privacy?
 
If you can not terminate a pregnancy due to a heart beat, can you turn off life support on a patient if they have a heart beat?

It's also a BS law since the heartbeat may not be detectable until around 8 weeks.

And women often miss periods and dont realize they're late...6 weeks leaves almost no room for women to even realize they are pregnant or take the test.

It's another BS attempt to force a different decision from SCOTUS.
 
Its downright disgusting in Georgia. I know everyone's talking about the Alabama outright ban on choice but the Georgia one seems even worse.
In Alabama you can step over the state line and still have choice. In Georgia you face criminal prosecution for manslaughter. So they have decided to control a womans body no matter where she is even in another state. And you better not miscarry because you can be interrogated and prosecuted.
I'm waiting to see the first person include a fetus with no ss number on their taxes. Or the first woman that has a miscarriage and the state seems her irresponsible and charged her with manslaughter.

Maybe women who are concerned about becoming pregnant should take a test everytime they have sex or keep their legs shut

It depends. If the aren't brain dead, and that is measurable, then yes, they are alive. If, however, a person is considered brain dead, their hearts can beat independently, supposing adequate amount of oxygen is delivered to the tissues.

If someone murders a pregnant woman, he is charged with killing two people. Should he not be?
