WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump is expected to sign an executive order on Thursday launching a commission to review alleged voter fraud and voter suppression in the U.S. election system. That’s according to three White House officials.One official says Vice President Mike Pence and Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach will lead the commission, which will look at allegations of improper voting and fraudulent voter registration in states and nationally. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss details ahead of a formal announcement.
Trump has alleged, without evidence, that 3 to 5 million people voted illegally in his 2016 campaign against Democrat Hillary Clinton.
The official says the panel will include Republicans and Democrats and include current and former state election officials.

The only voter suppression that will and needs to occur is the suppression of non-citizen voters, of which there were way too many in 2016 and completely justifies the creation of this panel.

Non-citizens can't vote in elections and there is no evidence any did in the last one.

It says the panel will be bi-partisan and will also investigate voter suppression. If that is the case then I don't have a problem with it.

Of course there is no evidence. How can there be evidence when its not checked on whether the people voting are actually US citizens or not?

Hmm... a bi-partisan panel to look into voter fraud and suppression is bad simply because Trump wants it. When will we hear how strict ID requirements to buy guns poses an undue discriminatory burden? ;)

How can people make the claim that millions of illegals voted in the last election w/no evidence and expect to be taken seriously?

Not to mention that having a valid, state issued, photo ID is not proof of US citizenship. At best, it simply means that DHS has no reason to belive that the person, represented by other documents presented, is an illegal immigrant. Fake IDs abound and "real" one's may be based on them and do not include citizenship status.

See, this is why Trump's 100% lie/incompetence is an issue. How can any of us think this is credible, when nothing credible ever comes out of Trump's white house? He has trained us to doubt his every word and action, and he's been a hugely great trainer. America really IS greater because of it!

That's exactly the way most of the country feels about the Russia probe, but many Trump supporters still give backlash.

How can you prove a negative? - that millions of non-citizen legal residents (that have valid IDs) did not vote. ;)

Exactly.

We have the leader of the California Senate, third in line to the Governorship, stating almost every illegal alien uses fake ID's to survive.

If they are using fake I.D., what is to stop an illegal alien from voting?

It's a problem the left seems determined to ignore.

I could give a number of reasons that would show that there is no reasonable expectation of them not voting. Instead let me ask you this. If there is a reasonable belief that something is true based on circumstantial evidence don't you think that that something should be investigated to see if it is true?
