You'd be wrong, lol, but that appears to be a habit of yours. AOC's policy proposals are far too radical for me, and completely undoable both fiscally and socially at this point. Someday, perhaps, but not now.
I knew absolutely nothing about her except all the sexist, vulgar insults conservatives have been heaping on her since last year, when their rape fantasies and boob fetishes graced DP pages every day since last November, and beyond.
First time I heard her speak was in her capacity as a member of the House Judiciary Committee, during Micheal Cohen's testimony. Contrary to most of her colleagues on both sides of the aisle, she spent her five minutes with expertly-prepared questions, the answers to which opened a previously unknown area for committee investigation and insight, along with soliciting answers to "what, where, why, when, and who else should be talk to?"
All in five freaking minutes in a completely efficient, professional, non-political manner, sans sarcasm, blow-harderly, blame-mongering or self-aggrandizing puffery. I found it refreshing for a politician, even a baby one, and have since discovered that she continues to perform her congressional duties in the same no-nonsense manner, and is
always impeccably prepared (or was for the instances I've seen).
Now learn how to make an argument by actually watching/reading what others have posted without blindly engaging in dismissive "propoganda" claims.
P.S. I'm a registered republican, not a partisan mouthpiece. I don't have to read daily talking points to know what I think. It's fun; try it sometime!
