2019 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament

The SEC has several good teams, no doubt. They are second only to the ACC.

aUBURN looked good too.

I took note of Auburn's 3 point prowess this afternoon! Auburn's 5' 11" point guard, Jared Harper, led the Tigers past my Gators.

Auburn advances to the SEC Final to face the winner of today's Tennessee Kentucky game.

I concur with your assessment. The ACC level of talent leads all conferences in this year's Dance.

Like I said 3 weeks ago, "UNC, Duke, Kentucky and Virginia" are the 4 best teams in the country.

If Kentucky wins tomorrow, these should be your #1 seeds.

The SEC could make some real noise in the tourney. Even Auburn and Florida are the real deal.

Zion is one of the most spectacular college players I've ever seen. With Zion, Duke is the absolute #1. They only stumbled when he was out injured.

-----------

Or not... just when I said this, Duke, leading by 14, allowed FSU to come back within 5. Well, 7 now, with 5 minutes left.

What a game! I've been following the ACC tournament, and oh boy, the ACC is a thing of beauty! Such spectacular games, with the top five teams being so good! (Duke, UNC, Virginia, FSU, and even Virginia Tech which only lost to FSU in overtime)

And Duke wins the ACC, ten points ahead of the team that dominated Virginia yesterday.
Zion's comeback from injury with 3 spectacular performances in as many days to lead his team to the title of the toughest league, doesn't leave any doubt about who's the best team in college basketball right now.

I envision an elite 8 of all ACC and SEC teams.

Last week Duke was not a one seed. Now they are the top team in the country.

Will Gonzaga be given the last #1 or will it go to an SEC team?

Izzo thinks the Big 10 deserve a #1 seed.

Don't he always think he deserves a higher seed than he gets? Does he not always make the news this time of year griping.

I think Tennessee lost it's one seed today and Gonzaga slide back in.

The SEC is the conference that deserves a one seed not the big ten. But parody at the top likely gave it to Gonzaga, like I just said.

Bit of a tough draw, but I’m glad the committee decided to reward the Zags with a one seed.

Gonzaga was never in danger of losing their #1 seed.

Gonzaga wont get past Murray State.

Ja Morant will outshine rui hachimura. This Gonzaga team is in for a big surprise.

Morant is a hugely talented player and worthy of the top 5 pick he'll get. But even if Murray St. somehow gets past Florida St., which I doubt, they don't have an answer for Clarke and Rui and Tillie down low. The overall talent level between the teams is not in the same zip code.

I have Gonzaga through to the Final Four.

Three things about the tournament:

1) The first four is horse****. 64 teams is more than enough.

2) If you're going to have a first four, conference champions shouldn't be in it, It should be the last 8 at large teams in.

3)*The first four is horse****. 64 teams is more than enough.

I thought that way at first. But I'll admit I've come to enjoy having a bit of basketball to tide me over between Selection Sunday and the first rounds.

It's interesting how some people in some other sites keep saying that Duke got favored. Not so. One, because they are indeed the best team in the country, so their overall #1 was deserved. Two, because as the overall #1, they still had the best #2 assigned to their region, which is no reward for their ranking. Virginia got a much better deal.

The committee did not consider MSU to be the best #2 -- too many bad losses.
