I am not opposed to second chances however I do believe in consequences. The Patriots invested a 4th round pick on Aaron Hernandez. That was an appropriate amount of risk given his character issues. A 4th round pick hardly has any job security compared to a first or second round pick.

You honestly should be ashamed of yourself. Supporting a 6 foot 230 pound man that punches a woman half his size. He has trouble with authority figures by attacking parking attendants as well.

I'm a Christian. I don't condone assault. An athlete punching a woman requiring her jaw wired shut is never acceptable in my book. Maybe your moral compass allows such a thing but I wouldn't know how to explain that to my daughter.

The Patriots didn't sign or draft him knowing he killed a man.

The Bengals on the other hand....

The Pats certainly knew that Hernandez ruptured a man's eardrum by punching him in the head when asked to leave a bar, and they also knew he was involved in a double shooting in Florida when he was a Gator. GMAFB. :roll:
