No, you're not understanding.I thought you were leaving race out of it. so after all this, and telling me you wanted to leave race out of it, your big reaveal was that you thought it was race?
I'm saying it was prejudices which manifested themselves through fear. I'm not saying the officer(s) are racist. I'm not saying it was just because he was black. I'm saying it was built in prejudices, which caused the officers to react a certain way in their fear. If Bennett had been a huge bald white man wearing an NRA shirt with a Nazi symbol on it, I think Bennett would have received the exact same treatment.
But race did play a part in the prejudice of the officer(s), even if the officer(s) had been black themselves.
Dood, try understanding an argument next time.d00d save me the time next time. /facepalm
You clearly don't understand what I'm saying. I don't know if it's because you didn't take the time to comprehend or if it's because it's easier to just read what you want rather than trying to look at the situation through a complex lens. Either way, re-read my argument again.everyone there was black. So that's out.
No, it doesn't, for the reasons I said. Again, re-read what I actually wrote, not what you inferred, and then get back to me.Thanks for the colossal waste of time. refer to my post regarding race which you lectured me that you thought it wasn't about race, it all applies now.
