He’s earning a very small plurality in a contest that isn’t decided by popular vote. Have you considered that progressives are just a noisy fringe minority? You should. The squeaky wheel doesn’t always get the grease. Sometimes it’s ripped from the axel and thrown in the trash.

It's a diverse field appealing to different parts of the Democratic caucus. As people drop out, certain candidates will go up. That is how things work.

This isn't 2016 when it was only Clinton and Sanders on the debate from the beginning.

Neither was 2016. Bernie started at 4% with Martin O'Malley, James Webb and Lincoln Chafee, little known by the country. Bernie rose to be remembered as the only other candidate because he did so historically well.

Well its not "free" to all, but Free college to all students is a fantasy as is forgiving all of the college loan debt, another fantasy. Wining on Medicare for all as a flip of the entire system is a fantasy. A Climate Change platform plank that takes on Fossil Fuels and thus carbon is correct. Vowing to take down all nuke plants and never build another is laughably absurd. Nuclear power is literally 100's of times safer than fossil fuels and we cannot all run around blowing into plastic pinwheels to generate power.
