Nearly Half Of The US Homeless Live In California

California was a Republican stronghold in presidential elections from 1952 until 1992. During this period, the Republicans won California in every election except the election of 1964. In these years, the GOP regularly nominated Californians as presidential candidates: Richard Nixon in 1960 and 1972, and Ronald Reagan in 1980 and 1984.

Republicans had control of the Cali state houses from 1952 till 1992, but even after they lost the majority, they tried the Mitch system, filibustering as much as they could all the way up until Democrats FINALLY got the 60 percent supermajority needed to shut them up.
Who put those Dems there? California VOTERS, that's who, and the voters put them there because they got sick and tired of the way Republicans were running the place into the ground, which they DID do for decades.

Finding a way to rationalize that Leftist Democrats only had control of California for 29 years instead of 50 years doesn't help you argument.

It was in the early 90's that California stopped being qualified to be called the "Golden State."

California has opulent pockets of wealth surrounded by the highest level of poverty in America. That is 3rd world, and everything that caused it can be traced to Leftist Democrat policy.

I'm finally beginning to see the liberal light. I now understand that this is what liberals want - non workers mooching off of the federal government, living in a generational cycle of poverty where they can't even afford housing of any kind. And, open the borders to more illegals so they can join the crowd. If liberals wanted to fix the problem they could fix it at the state level but they won't because this is the way they want it and then blame it on the feds and on Trump and the Republicans.

What should be investigated is the housing situation in CA and other states with a warmer climate in winter. The cost of apartment rentals has doubled for the poor and Ben Carson is responsible for the increase. It has become unaffordable for people of lower income. It to me is a step in the right direction.

They can leave but not loiter around in areas to **** everywhere. There are also public shelters to go to but they choose not to because there are rules they have to follow.
