Trump encourages illegals to come here...........he even claims they can vote. At least up to 3 million of them anyway.
 
How about some repubs take assbreath aside and tell him he's killing the party...which he is.

Pelosi is just there like any other dem and con man-in-chief does not have the votes...period.

So the republic is reduced to whoever is in the WH gets all they want or..,.shut down govt.

Republican one-party rule is the goal here.

Can somebody please take Mexico aside and explain to them how a compromise works. We build a wall and they pay for it. That's the compromise. We get a wall, they get a bill.

The Donald refuses to budge on his wall and walked out on 'negotiations' that the Dems were open to.

So let's pretend your avatar is accurate and see if you can explain how it's Pelosi? She was there in good faith to negotiate...he stated clearly he was not.

As in, he did absolutely nothing to resolve the Iran hostage crisis.. Reagan came in and a day later they were on their way home! Point is, true conservative leaders garner respect, in that, they will follow through with their promises. Liberal democrats (A side note Carter is way more right than modern day progressive democrats) are wishy washy, and whinny.. Just imagine a sitting Democratic president and Senate majority refusing to fund the government until Republicans vote for their gun control laws.

You think Republicans would negotiate with that? You think they would if they were promised all the tax returns they wanted in exchange?

That's the kind of thing Republicans are setting themselves up to have happen to them.

Yet, you leftists argue against something you all agreed with when you were elected, you agreed to border security. You agreed that illegal immigration is wrong and must be stopped.

Now you have decided that illegal votes add power to your party, and you put your party above your country, you don't care about the USA?

800,000 are still without paychecks after a month and the last check for food stamps went out today.

It's gross that you're attempting to compare Trump to Reagan.

And Reagan, much as I admired him and miss him, had nothing to do with their release, which happened about 25 minutes after he took the oath of office. The negotiations for their release had been going on for quite some time, and Reagan was not involved.

The Democrats are still backing border security.

This expensive piece of the wall is no more than a narcissistic symbol of The Donald trying to keep a campaign promise. WHich failed when Mexico refused to pay for it (also as promised). There's no cost/benefit analysis that I've seen that this wall will be effective in reducing illegal immigration, certainly not for that price.

That was before studies started showing immigration was a net positive...........then the honest people(the dems) changed their mind because of evidence. But when you base your beliefs on faith and no evidence, then evidence doesn't change your mind.

...because it's a lesser deal? Trump isn't offering anything of substance on DACA. Just a delay, which the courts have already forced on him anyway.

This pelosi could end this shutdown by getting off her high horse and negotiate. She doesn't hear the cries of those affected financially by the lay offs and doesn't care.
