This is how STUPID that IDIOT MORON Trump is ... he's Telling where are Subs are!

Lol your quote confirms my assessment.

There's something wrong with you. Trump did not tell "Duterte that we maintain two submarines off the cost of North Korea" as you said. Trump said "two nuclear submarines” sent by the Pentagon to the region last month."

Hell of a difference there Absentglare, hell of a difference.

Thank you for your honesty: you think trolling progressives is more important than national security.

You would have a point if I had in any way said I believed this to be a risk to national security.

If he told Duterte, he told China.

I'm not sure of Phillipines/China relations. I think they are headed for collision though because I think duterte is making a claim to the South China Seas like China is doing by fabricating islands and claiming that land and the sea around them for miles belongs to them.

"We maintain two submarines off the coast of North Korea"

Vs

"We have a lot of firepower over there [off the coast of North Korea]. We have two submarines - the best in the world. We have two nuclear submarines, not that we want to use them at all."

Umm... there is certainly a problem, but i can safely assure you that it is NOT mine.

There is certainly a problem with making a big deal about it, since any one paying attention already knew we had subs there. When this is the best you can come up with, we start to understand how Trump won.

You are correct. The South China Sea mess has upset the Phillipines.

Philippines v. China (PCA case number 2013–19), also known as the South China Sea Arbitration, was an arbitration case brought by the Republic of the Philippines against the People’s Republic of China under Annex VII to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) concerning certain issues in the South China Sea including the legality of China's "nine-dotted line" claim.[2]

-skipping down a bit-

The Philippines contended that the "nine-dotted line" claim by China is invalid because it violates the UNCLOS agreements about exclusive economic zones and territorial seas.[23] It says that because most of the features in the South China Sea, such as most of the Spratly Islands, cannot sustain life, they cannot be given their own continental shelf as defined in the convention.[24]

That prompted Trump to point out that the United States has “a lot of firepower over there,” including “two nuclear submarines” sent by the Pentagon to the region last month."

Later in the call, Trump raised the stakes of the escalating tensions on the Korean Peninsula when he observed: “We can’t let a madman with nuclear weapons let on the loose like that. We have a lot of firepower, more than he has, times 20 — but we don’t want to use it.”

Dang you're dishonest, do you always insert words in quotes ??

Not fooled and not goaded to fauxrage.

Given the choice between candidates, basically a **** sandwich and a larger **** sandwich, I chose the smaller **** sandwich.
It's the typical choice offered voters in presidential elections.

Why do you nominate **** sandwiches? Why don't you nominate meat and cheese?
No, wait, I know- because meat and cheese don't have anyone polishing them.

I know, right. The USS Michigan docks at Busan, South Korea, four days later Trump says we have subs in the region and 4 days later the USS Cheyenne docks in Sasebo, Japan. Not to mention Submarine Group 7 is forward stationed at Yokosuka, Japan.

I guess blind partisanship sometimes over rides common sense.

LOL.

A single voter doesn't really have very much influence either who wins the primary nor the general. Same as any other single voter.

In the primary I thought that Kasich was the best candidate. He didn't win.
In the general I wasn't going to vote for Hillary, nor would want Hillary to be elected, which left me voting for Trump.

So far, Trump has a number of things he needs to consciously do differently to improve, if he wants to have his term amount to anything.

I am reminded again that I really wish I had done one WestPac cruise...

A North Korean Sub commander? A Chinese Sub commander? A psychic sub commander? You dont think every single sub commander in the region doesnt already know our subs patrol those seas? You cant be serious.

You don't have to act, because you're leaving no doubt

I don't recall "making a big deal about it", instead, i have been explaining that his tendency to blurt out sensitive information without considering the possible consequences of his disclosures is bad for a sitting president. I have explained in exquisite detail why the difference between "we know the US has subs in some places," to "we know exactly how many US submarines are in a specific region," is meaningful to China even if it is not meaningful to you. Then you claimed that telling Duterte still keeps it secret from China, which is laughable because Duterte/his government is the source of the leak even if we don't consider that China has a strong relationship with the Philippines.

Now, you have been reeling in the abject loss of your argument on all these fronts, so you try to attack me with the election result. It's a desperate ploy that confirms my success here.

How about we ask a Navy man?

The freaking sub was on the Navy Ombudsman site for "port o call" for 2 days before Trump said anything.

Geez guys. Come on already. Public knowledge.
