Trump says he'll have another meeting with Putin, again calls media 'enemy of the people'

Because there has to be a official record of what is said, given the current president’s habit for lying.

Has either head of state declared agreements of any kind after the Helsinki meeting? What could Trump or Putin be lying about? Hum?

Oh Goody! ...and just before the election. I am wondering how Republican leadership feels about this right now.... an encore performance, just before the election?

BTW.... when does he plan on telling us about what they plan on "implementing?"

Of course, the second part of this article deals with Trump once again showing how he hates our democracy...

But, hey, keeping up with Trump's boneheaded actions and statements is like drinking from a firehose.

Besties. You just can't keep those two lovebirds apart.

i hope that Putin and Trump have their White House sleepover very close to the midterms.

Ah. And I figured you for being impartial.

Then no problem with transparency right?
Seems transparency got Trump into a lot of hot water in Helsinki. You want transparency, you'd better ask the, for example, press to back off and quit spinning things.

How has he failed on that regard?I know Trump likes to think of himself as a nationalist, so I would think an attack on this country would be very low on his list of things he wants to happen. It's probably lower than losing you.

Trump wants you to think he's a nationalist and you've fallen for it, hook, line and sinker. You're being an apologist for a traitor. End of story.

He probably did it just so people like you can go bonkers over it. I don't think he cares about what makes you happy anymore; that ship has sailed.

Is that why you think he did it? Pretty immature for the leader of the free world. It makes you happy that people in your own Trump/GOP party are uncomfortable with it, as well? Good to know.

You've swallowed the hook on your own ideology (which isn't too surprising). It would be nice to see someone think for a change.

and what, just play along with whatever narrative the administration wants?

The "our country was attacked" rhetoric only makes sense if you equate "the country" with John Podesta's email account. That's an insane logical leap; and unsurprisingly, millions of Americans aren't buying it.

You know next to nothing about how our democracy was attacked in 2016. If you're that uniformed at this point, no one can help you.

It would be, let me know when you do.

Putin doesn't like the press either....You "excited" your hero Putin coming to the White House?

Anyone who wants health care can get health care; anyone who wants an abortion can get one; as far as I know, the military and the unions aren't having issues. And I'm not sure what the deal is with anyone under the age of 30...

Methinks doth protest too much...

Yeah everything is going real well.....LOL...Sure...

No. Report exactly how Trump responded to the gotcha question. He could've answered our intelligence agencies are indisputable but that's not what he thought. Look, even after Helsinki, he's still being transparent with his offer to Putin to the White House in the fall.

I'm hoping some thawing of relations can finally begin.

Right now there is a lot of Katowing and denial....While Putin and Russia laugh their asses off at trump and America...Lots in Europe aren't laughing seeing America bow down to Russia

I can't disprove someone's ideology. I'm not gonna try. If you have facts, you let me know.

I don't recall which quote you're referring to; but the general message was he believed Putin didn't interfere with the 2016 US election despite what US intelligence agencies have reported. How exactly was the press supposed to report this? As for Putin being invited to the White House despite the on going investigation is inappropriate. Do you think it makes sense to have the leader of a nation who interfered in your government's election process invited on your soil before the findings of the investigation come to light? Stranger still, announce joint ventures to prevent this kind of thing?

Yes, the idea that one man being memed into the White House and effective troll his opposition is pure gold.

Well, the first thing I've noticed is that Vladimir Putin is now directly addressing the American people via the news media.
That's a brand new development. I don't know about you, but for me, it's like having an uninvited stranger come in my house, and telling my kids how to act, and criticizing how we act, and criticizing the house.

No. First Trump referenced the DNC's missing server. Mentioned if the missing server was found, more definitive proof could be obtained on who hacked the DNC (could be more than one, my addition). He said Putin has categorically denied Russia being involved. He said he believes American intelligence and believes Putin. Want's definitive proof.

Never did Trump say he categorically believed Putin and categorically disbelieved American intelligence. That's the spin that's been placed on this.

I'm not the least bit interested in patterning American society after the feral blueprint followed by the Russians, thank you.
I'm also not interested in our nation adopting their values, either.

Maybe the best idea is for all who love Putin so much is for them to consider Russian citizenship.
After all, Stephen Seagal was awarded Russian citizenship for being such a world class asshole.
If the shoe fits...they should get their immigration papers in order.
