"Four suspects from Tajikistan face terror charges and have all pleaded guilty, according to the state-run TASS news agency. They appeared in court with reports noting how they appeared to have been beaten and tortured. In protest against the torture and interrogation of members of the organization, the militants promise to carry out a new terrorist attack on Russia.

"In Ukraine, 57 combat engagements took place in the frontline over the last day. Russians were actively trying to storm Ukrainian positions in the Lyman and Novopavlivka directions, according to the General Staff."

I want to personally thank the Republican House of Representatives for seeing women like this, or families like this, and offering less help.

These families, because of Putin and less and less help from us, are either dead or scarred for life.

Russian banks' profits are set to decline to 2.3-2.8 trillion roubles ($25-$30 billion) this year, the central bank has said, after sharp rises in mortgage, consumer and corporate lending drove the sector to record profits of 3.3 trillion roubles in 2023.

Meanwhile, the results of Ukraine's punches to Ivan's oil industry's balls:

FGE analysts expect a structural decline in Russian refinery runs and do not see them regaining 2023 levels even in the second half of this year, they wrote in a note.

And Russia is losing a big oil customer:

The SBU busts FSB-connected saboteurs looking to disrupt Ukraine's rail supply lines:

March 26 (Reuters) - Ukrainian security officers arrested two people suspected of acting on behalf of Russia as they tried to blow up a railway line used to supply weapons to the east for Kyiv's war effort, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) said on Tuesday.

The detainees, identified only as residents of the Kyiv and Kharkiv regions, planted an explosive device by the line in central Poltava region and planned to detonate it remotely, but they were caught red-handed by SBU officers, the statement said.

"In this case, NATO missiles would hit Russian missiles outside the territory of the Alliance Treaty. We take Putin's threats very seriously."

"Before Ukraine's strikes, up to 46 trains carrying weapons and ammunition had made it across the bridge each day. Now, up to five trains make the crossing each day, four of which carry passengers. The fifth transports general consumer goods."

"Sending aid to Ukraine is not merely an act of charity; it is an economic investment here at home. Funds that lawmakers approve to arm Ukraine are being used stateside to build new weapons or to replace weapons sent to Kyiv from U.S. stockpiles. In fact, of the $68 billion in military and related assistance Congress has approved since Russia invaded Ukraine, almost 90 percent is going to Americans. The American Enterprise Institute has identified 117 production lines in at least 31 states and 71 cities where American workers are producing major weapons systems for Ukraine. Furthermore, providing aid to Ukraine sends a powerful message to the world that the United States stands firmly behind its allies and will not tolerate threats to democracy and freedom. In a time when authoritarianism is on the rise, it is essential for the United States to demonstrate its unwavering commitment to defending human rights, democratic values and the rules-based international order that has benefited America since the end of World War II."

"Moreover, supporting Ukraine is not just about geopolitics; it is about standing up for what is right and just. It is about supporting the aspirations of millions of people who yearn for a future free from oppression and fear. As Americans, we must never forget the sacrifices made by those who have fought and died for the cause of freedom. Putin's acts of aggression and fundamental disregard of established international law must not be met with impunity. Now is the time for the United States to lead by example and demonstrate its unwavering commitment to defending democracy and human rights around the world. When they return to session in April, the U.S. House of Representatives must act decisively and swiftly to provide aid to Ukraine. Doing so is not only in the best interest of the Ukrainian people but also in the best interest of American workers, our military preparedness and global security."

GOP House Speaker Johnson has said he will put a Ukraine funding bill on the floor of the House after the Easter recess.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R/GA) has filed a motion to "vacate" Johnson's position as Speaker but has not yet formally introduced it on the House floor. Johnson's Speakership is hanging by a thread.
