How you like Trump now?

If voters during the election couldn't figure it out, they guy makes up his polices on the fly. He only knows what he's going to do if and when someone asks him what he's going to do.
I said it for a long time - true Trump supporters weren't reasoned INTO their support of him, so they couldn't be reasoned OUT.

That's a subset of his voters, mind you. The data seems to indicate that most his voters don't think much of him.

No... I edited to answer your initial question more specifically. Now you are changing the topic. Nice try though.

I didn't change any topic.

You changed your answer to admit you may have been wrong about Trump.

Meanwhile, I always knew what he was.

But you want to make me out to have been a Trumpkin. That's the "H. I. larious" thing here.

I never said I was wrong about trump. You are must making crap up. AGAIN.

Sure you did:

I'm all for winning the policies I want regardless of what letter follows their name. So yeah... if it works out the way I want... I'm happy. And that is a MUCH more straight answer than you've provided about this.

In fact, the whole premise of this thread is that he's NOT the "right-wing" messiah, and you're gloating about it.

The only one who made up "crap" here is you, calling me a Trumpkin.

**** yeah I'm gloating. His sheep voted for him and I've always been saying that they didn't have a clue as to what he was about. No one knows what he's about because he makes **** up on the fly.

Apologies for calling you a trumpkin. Actually I think it was "trumpette". Meh whatever.

Then you should be happy.

Its a move in the right direction but I'll wait to be happy if and when he implements single payer.

Nobody will ever take the U.S. government seriously again after this ****ing failure of a president...

The good part about this is maybe it will finally instill change. I'd had hoped Hillary would win because the republicans were the best hope of change in 2020 but maybe with a trump victory the dnc and the Dems will change for the better next election.

IMO, One of two directions can be taken by the dems...

1) The Sanders/Warren progressive wing of the party takes the forefront now that they've proven that they are more equipped to lead

or

2) The Dem party becomes so stupid that they think they need to move even further to the right to pretend they are Republican lite.

Let's pray for the former.

Too Socialist for most Americans, good grief we can only give away so much.

Probably, or a new breed coming up from the base brings some real ideas and common sense to the Party.

The good thing for the Dems is the Repubs are often their own worst enemy and after the Repubs have all the power they will be the ones under the gun and the Dems will take advantage of any failures to fulfill their many promises and any those that harm the average man will be pointed out over and over.

Funny, your right wing messiah isn't coming through now isn't it. And you want to bend it all around and put in on the left. H.I.larious

Some people adapt and change. Some people are terminally stupid. Ya' follow?

Whether anyone likes or doesn't like Trump won't change the fact that he's the elected president of the USA for the next 4 years.

Me,I'm just hoping that he does some good things and the USA makes some progress while he's in the White House.

He got elected. Now let's see what he does.

Trump isn't right winged and never has been. He's actually a Blue Dog Democrat.

Changing on a policy 180 degrees isn't exactly what one would call adapting. But I'll agree with you that Breitbart is terminally stupid.

His supporters are faaaaaarrrr right wing... and they are in for a BIG surprise. All because they never give a damn about policies come election time. They only care about the (R). And it's going to burn them.

Yet to be determined,,,,,if the D's refuse to work with him which is likely because they aint that bright Trump will have no choice but to move right to get the votes he needs. If the D's will work with Trump then ya, there will be some upset voters.

Not all of his supporters.. maybe 5% of them are Far Right as Trump flipped counties that 4 years ago voted for Obama. Couple of my Friends who are Democrats voted for Trump cause they saw it as a way to get the DNC's attention and end the Clinton-Bush Kingdom.

And that's the big point and a good one Hawkeye. If Democrats in Congress work with him. Trump doesn't have to rely on the far right in Congress and he can be the centrist he truly is. He can get a spending bill (Infrastructure Stimulus), Update Obamacare to make it cost effective where premiums are hiked every year.. and reform trade deals. If he gets no help from Democrats, you can book it now, Trump is gonna go scorch earth.

I wonder how many people who voted for Trump understand that he has no problem working with D's, that when he kept saying that he will work with anyone to get a deal that he meant it....

To my mind Trump was very clear, but maybe some did not pay that close of attention.

It's none of my business, and I'm not going to ask, but if you are a tax paying American living and working in Europe then you know what is at stake. The Liberalism/socialism practiced by Bill Clinton, Geo. W. Bush(and I hate to admit it), and Barack Obama have virtually erased the identity that American has nurtured for over 200 years. As a people and as a country, we are better than those ideologies. Hillary Clinton wanted to take our country further down the road of destruction. We have to be brave enough to admit it. She, and some of her predecessors, were pawns of George Soros and several other global enterprises that did not have our grandchildren's best interests at heart. I pray that Trump does.

You are right. We, as Americans, must now come together and join forces behind him. We must put our differences aside and search for the good things we have in common. No man living can go back, not even 10 minutes, to relive some earlier slight. To try is a fool's errand. Most of us had the advantage of being children whose parents taught us the difference between right and wrong. Now is the time to strive for what is right.

Pray for America. Now, more than ever before, WE need it.
