The police got him. Captured after a shootout.

Ironically enough, he once sued the police for targeting Muslims. Looks like what he wanted was for the police to back off and give him breathing room to do something like this.

FALSE . The suspect didn't shoot any cops, because if he had , the NYPD would've shot him dead , in accordance w/its SOP.

THe whole shootout story was a police fabrication--the cops had already planned to shoot him, regardless of whether he was armed--hence, their "armed and dangerous" alert.

Probably wiped the outside of the phone but forgot about the battery. Like I said, incompetent. Hasn't he ever watched CSI? :)
