You don't understand what reparations are for. They're not payments to former slaves. They're an attempt to correct disproportional representation in power, wealth and politics resulting from slavery and two hundred years of injustice.

Why do you believe power and wealth should not be proportional, and despite the obvious robbery of a population of people.

I've dealt with my white guilt. I own several guns, a pickup truck and a chain saw. Guilt has been totally nullified.

Most of us got money from parents and grandparents all of whom owned land. Our great grandparents were college educated and passed intergenerational wealth. Theirs were slaves. Not the same start in life.

I don't wanna hear about poor white people. Hell, they don't have an excuse for why their family pissed money away. Guess bad luck, okay.

Why do black people not get the same start in life? 13% of the population only has 3% of the power and wealth thanks to slavery and two hundred years of injustice.

The justice system, employment and housing.

Don't act like it's a square deal. I wasn't born last night.

I'm sorry the OP has "white guilt". Me, I'm just glad to still be alive at 51 (soon to be 52!). I've never assumed I would get anything because I'm majorly Anglo-Saxon.
 
So you want I should post and endless amount of videos of black folks whining about the white men and how they are being held back when opportunities abound for those that want it bad enough?

Well the poster has a tendency of posting the same ideas over and over again as if through repetition they become valid. I've tried to debate him before on that very topic but it ended up being the usual pattern of diversions, and canned responses.

Why do you feel the need to hold me or my ancestors accountable for something we were not involved with, and not only that spilt blood helping people become free. We have a notion in this nation that the son shall not be held to account for the sins of the father. What happened to that? And oh by the way the WHOLE nation was not involved in your so called robbery. Nobody is owed anything with regard to reparations. All the people that owe and are owed are dead. So kindly take your silly notion and pound sand.

No we are NOT. We are not responsible. This whole notion of reparations for actions long ago perpetrated by people long dead to people long dead is bunk. We are NOT responsible for the sins of or ancestors. I dont not accept the notion of reparations in the case you suggest as valid. It is a shill notion promoted by shysters and poverty pimps.
