If our Constitution made liberalism, in effect, illegal what should we do with them?.

ROTFLMAO

Only a dolt would take that blither seriously enough to answer substantively.

You guys are too much...
translation: as a typical liberal I lack the IQ for a substantive answer so will run away and hope it isn't obvious

The opening post is asinine.

you mean you have a feeling it is but you cant actually say why can you? Calling names like a child is typical of liberalism.

You already have. And, you deserve neither security nor freedom because of it.

so if you are willing to be drafted to fight the Nazis you don't deserve security or freedom?? How much sense does that make? This is an example of why conservatives are far more intelligent than libertarians.

Freedom is a lack of coercion. Imposition is coercion. Cognitive dissonance is running rampant in your words.

are you trying to say we didn't impose freedom on Europe and Japan after WW2?

Yes, I lack the IQ. You outed me.

no you outed yourself as a liberal by running from debate. Do you want to be a liberal all your life?

Your kind represents the total failure of the enlightenment experiment that was the USA.

Enlightment was libertarian conservative ie about transferring power from govt to the people. Before Enlightenment libcommie monarchist govt was common. Do you understand?

Can freedom even be imposed @ all?

are you trying to say we didn't impose freedom on Europe and Japan after WW2?

We offered to help all of Europe & the USSR rebuild after the ravages of WWII. The Soviets & what became the Warsaw Pact (Soviet client states) refused to participate in the Marshall Plan, upon the insistence of the USSR. So we helped Western Europe rebuild, including W. Germany.

In the case of Japan, we certainly imposed controls upon their government - we wrote a constitution for them, & imposed McArthur as a military proconsul (more or less) for a time. Japan was ceded independence in April of 1952 - the end of the Allied occupation.

A non sequitur fail

Before the Enlightenment? Doesn't that precede Marx & Engels? This is absolutely incoherent - Communist government as a political entity didn't exist, hadn't been even theorized @ that point, TMK.

actually communist statist monarchy had been theorized since Plato, the first communist. Our genius founders made all forms of statism illegal here. Do you understand?

So you agree, we imposed freedom on Europe and Japan after WW2 whereas the libertarian said one cant impose freedom.

The happiest countries in the world are certainly not conservative. They work together toward goals that are good and fair for everybody.

USA saved world through two world wars and recreated it in our image, and then it has prospered amazingly. How is that for good and fair for everybody??

Completely off the scale

So you agree, we imposed freedom on Europe and Japan after WW2 whereas the libertarian said one cant impose freedom.

I most certainly did not agree. You don't understand plain English?

so you think the Girl Scouts imposed freedom on Europe and Japan after WW2 or you're just afraid to say what you think?

A very pollyannaish view of history & the World

No, the US didn't save the World single-handedly. The Soviets bled & bled, & did most of the fighting & killing in WWII - look up the combat stats anywhere. We provided a lot of industrial & agricultural muscle, & some troops - again, look @ the manpower the combatants put into the war, the percentage of KIA, WIA, captured, dead of disease & accident.

Western Europe, Japan, & eventually Eastern Europe & the Soviets more or less willingly followed our lead in movies, popular music, consumer goods. But it was often against the sensibilities of the elites & government functionaries. The developed world has prospered, on the whole. Now we're coming up on pollution & environmental contamination, limits to fresh water, arable land, barriers to further expansion of food sources. Yes, the rate of extreme poverty in the World has fallen over the last few decades. It's not clear if we can sustain that, nor for how far into the future.

These are tangible goods - if we can sustain the trend lines. If not, it will be the biggest crash in human history. We can hope that there are technological or biological fixes that we can apply. & that the cures themselves won't entail further & worse problems.

how will you learn if you are afraid to try?? Ever see a libertarian have to run from a debate?

Re: A very pollyannaish view of history & the World

No, the US didn't save the World single-handedly. .

nobody said it was single handed??????As a typical America hating liberal you want to be sure America does not get too much credit-right??

yes thanks to the "shot heard around the world" and the cultural imperialism of saintly American Republicans starting with Jefferson who saw American as an empire of liberty and envisioned the world living at peace without libcommieNazimonarchist statist govt according to God's natural law...but tragically liberals stood in the way and hundreds of million got killed needlessly!!

pure liberal brainwashed insanity of course. Liberals said we were running out of oil when PA ran dry 100 years ago, and every 15 years thereafter until today when population is 10 times greater, people are using 100 times as much per capita, and oil is coming out of our ears!! OMG!!!
