Well, given that those areas that actually enforce the practice aren't seeing a spike in infections, and that it has helped other nations to flatten the curve so that they can re-open...I wouldn't exactly call it bullsh!t.

No, even the ones who die from it....the sooner they're off the taxpayer's teet, the better.

That's it, in a nutshell. When we do get a handle on this crisis, he wants to be able to pull out footage and declare "I called it! I said use this! I said try this! I told them to do this, it was my idea!" He's just doing it with lots of stupid stuff because he doesnt want to miss an opportunity. He's afraid 'the big one' will be mentioned and he wont get credit for it.

It's all about declaring himself the savior of the cv crisis and we'll hear all about it, esp in his campaign. (Which is basically each of his press briefings these days) --- Lursa

From my take on the info, what's new is how it lingers in the air. Of course it's long been transmitted through the air, but a lot was said that it doesn't linger in the air. Now, it does.

That has real effects. Some of us have always been suspicious about that and hated to see guidance that might be overly permissive. First it was 'asymptomatic need no masks' and then 'it doesn't linker in the air'.

How does 'how long it lingers' in the air affect social distancing or wearing a mask? Please be specific.

"Distance" could affect social distance spacing. But if it's about lingering in the air...then masks are still of the same importance. Maybe people should wear them more even when outside/inside with more spacing between people?

The reason cloth masks are not important in that situation is that cloth masks do not protect you from covid-19.

Europe does, and look at how well we're doing compared to the exponential increases in rates of infection in the US. And why is that you may ask. Simple; because wearing masks and social distancing works.

How about protecting others from yourself; not important? You do know that you can be asymptomatic and at the same time be shedding huge virus loads onto anyone you're in close contact with? Wear a mask!

I really think there is no covid-19. That is why the hospitals were empty, the numbers were manipulated, people who didn't die of covid-19 did get covid-19 on their death certificate etc,
This alll because this is not about health at all, it is only about control.

Humans have brains so they can mess with nature, economics and whatever else threatens them. We’re not THAT powerless. That’s what has given us so many advantages over the animals that live with the all-natural freedom of the law of the jungle.

It's not the poor. Covid-19 has no idea what your net worth is. It's the elderly, 65+, many of whom are millionaires...and those with compromised immune systems. That's covid's language.

We've had a grand total of 70 cases in my area, 2 covid-related deaths. We've literaly lost more people to drunk driving and smoking than covid-19. Ban cars and tobacco before lecturing me about a mask.
