Just my two-cents but I don't believe that the whole reason Trump held the funds from Ukraine was so that he could cheat the next election. That's only part of it.

Is there any doubt that this funding would help Ukrainian interests and harm Russia's?

Ukraine might be America's Allie but Russia and Putin are Trump's Allie. He will do exactly what Putin tells him to do. Putin is running America. Not Trump.

It is pretty clear to me, as it should be to anyone else who is paying attention, that Trump is in bed with Russia, Putin, and the uber-wealthy Russian mob, aka, "Oligarch's" who deposit their ill-gotten gains into that German bank who would take a risk loaning money to a nimrod (DJT) who has gone bankrupt too many times to count. I think that also explains the reason he hides his tax returns. It comes full-circle.

Trump is so crooked he has to screw his shoes on when he gets up out of bed in the morning. Seriously, is there any doubt? Does anyone really care?

Actually Schiff knew that the present GOP controlled SCOTUS will do whatever Trump and the GOP tells them to do no matter what the constitution says. I suspect that even if the SCOtUS for some crazy reason went against their masters in the GOP, Trump would have still said no, saying he can do as he wants.
