Of course, Dems don't like energy independence basically because it makes Trump look good.
Trump gave the State Dept a useful tool to combat the influence of Saudi Arabia and Russia in the game of energy dominance. Most Americans don't know that or don't care because "fossil fuels bad" and "AOC's disastrous green energy plan" GOOD.

I've never understood why it is either drill baby drill OR the green new deal. Think it should be drill baby drill AND innovative and renewable energies. Fortunately, I do see both happening.

Of course you would want an addled adult with cognitive impairment.
You're thinking straight about that right?

lol....what the hell is trump? textbook definition of addled with cognitive impairment.

Bad news is this poll is pretty representative of how Americans across the Nation feel, meaning unless a Major Miracle occurs trump is going to lose and worse yet he will end up taking the GOP Senate down with him. This is what you get, a Congress and WH controlled by the Dems, when you vote a complete moron into office, the GOP needs to vet their candidates better in the future.

He might be a complete moron to you but he bested 16 other top Republicans; won the necessary primaries to get nominated; and then beat the Anointed Queen when everyone thought he would lose.
How many morons do you know who could do that?
Is that what you hate about him ? He was a better politician than Hillary the Witch who has been in politics for 40 years?

That really affected you personally, didn't it? So you're not going to vote for him. He'll be sad.

So that is the wingnut philosophy now, it doesn't matter if it doesn't affect you personally? Impressive. I'm not the only one who won't be voting for the malignant narcissist lying scumbag.

Seriously, do you think 4 more years of Trump will bring us prosperity? Ask yourself how many of those jobs have come back from China, is coal making a revival, has our infrastructure improved, are there fewer MX rapists on the street, ...? As far as I can tell, Trump's platform in moving forward is to destroy all who aren't loyal and blind. I think 4 more years of Trump will bring us 4 more years of the same shtuff, probably even worse. Wouldn't it be nice to be debating something like whether we should fund a mars mission rather arguing about who should be locked up?

Trump is an ignorant, incompetent, immoral, racist that doesn't care about anyone but himself, and he sure as hell doesn't care about this country. He is the biggest racist in presidential politics since George Wallace. The man consistently praises and sides with our country's enemies. He trashes those that have served this country and has even rewarded Russia after being briefed that Russia is paying a bounty on American serviceman.

His utter incompetence has resulted in the United States, a nation that makes up only 5% of the world's population, leading the world in Covid-19 deaths. He is a man that in 2020 tweets videos of his supporter's yelling "White Power". A man that in 2020, refuses to let the military rename bases that are named after Confederate heroes. He is a man that in 2020, calls Covid-19 the "Kung Flu", to cheers from his racist supporters.

We have two daughters adopted from China. They are Chinese immigrants that love this country. Yet in 2020, they get to hear their president make a racist insult about them to a crowd of his cheering supporters. Our son serves this country. He could very well be deployed to Bagram AB in Afghanistan, where Russia would offer militants there $100k for his head. Yet the president doesn't even read his daily briefings, too ****ing busy watching Fox and Friends and tweeting. Moreover, since being briefed that Russia is paying a bounty on U.S. soldiers, Trump has done worse than nothing, he has rewarded them. He postponed the G7 because he wants Russia back in it. He is reducing our presence in Germany, a literal wet dream of Putin's. And even worse, when his utter dereliction of duty that borders on treason was exposed, Trump wasn't angry with Russia - he called it fake news. Was it fake news to the parents that saw their child come home to them in a flag-draped coffin?

I have said this before, and I mean it. The remaining people out there that are going to vote for this racist, American hating, despicable human being, need to put a Trump sign in their yard. They need to put a Trump bumper sticker on their vehicle. They need to wear a MAGA hat everywhere they go because everyone that knows them needs to know what kind of a person they are.

there is no reason we can't start moving to "green" or "renewable", whatever you care to call it, none.....no reason we can't have both, fossil and green.

You're right. No argument here. Except that we will always need a fossil fuel or nuclear backup to wind and solar. Why?
Because the wind doesn't always blow and the sun doesn't always shine - a fact of nature.

Let me repeat myself:

Because the wind doesn't always blow and the sun doesn't always shine - a fact of nature.

Too bad for you that your state has no chance of going for Trump. BTW - Do you think vote by mail is a fraud?

Voting by mail will be fraudulent if Trump loses, it'll be the best thing ever if he wins. Guess we need to see the election results to answer that one, just like 2016..

lol....what the hell is trump? textbook definition of addled with cognitive impairment.

Textbook?? YOu watch how Biden is going to weasel out of debating Trump.
Trump is not addled. He might lie but he is not cognitively impaired.

Very eloquent of you. I presume **** means that you are not very happy with our president. Care to mention why?

Sure! I have basically written the equivalent of a doctoral thesis about it over the course of years on this very site. Abstract: he's a national embarrassment, he's belligerently ignorant, unfit for office, and a malignant narcissist. He also looks like an angry shouting carrot.

Biden will wipe the floor with donnie

Brad Parscale already knows who you are so he is not counting on your vote.
I should care about Trump's failed businesses.?
The business of America is business and Trump has the most experience in that realm.
Does Biden?

You're going to vote for Biden to get truth, integrity, and honesty?
Maybe he'll get his son back into the picture so he can go over to Unkraine to make $50K a month not doing anything.
There's an example of Biden integrity

Don't think you want to compare integrity when it comes to the trumps or Bidens, that will not work out well.

Great ad hominem attacks. Will they be worth anything in November?
I take it you don't live in one of the fly over states that will benefit from having an Electoral College and not the popular vote deciding who will be president.

I see you are labeled as an Independent. So you're leaving yourself open to vote for Trump.
That's what Independents do, don't they? They don't take a stand until the very end, right?

Who are you blaming for those deaths? Trump? Did he order states to open up?
Do you think he is our dictator who can make governors do what he wants them to do?

Trump did make the decision to open up the country too early and before States met the CDC guidelines and you know it. Why do you think Florida is now reporting more new cases than most countries? Because Trump said we should open up and our Governor does everything Trump asks him to do. Trump is now demanding we open schools here in a few weeks and guess what that is what DeSantis is doing. California shut down again today and every day Trump stops Florida from doing the same we will be closer to a catastrophe.

(CNN)Some states have reopened too quickly, allowing the coronavirus pandemic to come roaring back, Dr. Anthony Fauci said Thursday.

"There are some times when despite the guidelines and the recommendations to open up carefully and prudently, some states skipped over those and just opened up too quickly," Fauci said.
Fauci said on Podcast-19, FiveThirtyEight's weekly podcast on Covid-19, that he thought in some respects Florida and Arizona's reopening plans have contributed to the uptick in cases in those states.
"Certainly Florida I know, you know, I think jumped over a couple of checkpoints," Fauci said.
US coronavirus: Some states opened too quickly, Fauci says - CNN

President Donald Trump is meanwhile highlighting claims that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, doctors, media and the Democrats are lying about the country's pandemic -- the world's worst -- in order to crush the economy on which he is relying for reelection.
The new campaign of deception is accelerating a day after Florida recorded the highest-ever single daily caseload of new infections for any US state and as the daily total of confirmed cases nationwide hits a staggering 60,000. The surge is raging across southern and Western heartlands, also including Texas, Georgia and Arizona which tried to get back to normal before the curve of infections was suppressed. The resulting torrent of new cases is exposing Trump's call for early openings, embraced by many Republican governors in defiance of CDC guidelines, as one of the worst political and economic decisions in modern history.

Depends on how you spin it.
There was a two-year investigation into Trump's campaign that yielded NOTHING!
How could the American people go along with a two-year long witch hunt and think there was a crime there somewhere?
They had Rachel Maddow and Shifty Schiff spinning it every day. Along with Nadler and Pelosi singing the chorus.
Spin is important.

That conclusion has already been baked in for yours.
I had no problem not voting for Hillary or Trump in 2016.
I knew which way OR was leaning.

There's no better option, so yeah.

If that is all ya got then you're doomed. Oh how about the Starr investigations, and what did it get ya, Nothing.

How do you "spin" this?

Unemployment at an all-time high....

Wow, talk about dishonesty.

Unemployment was at an 50-year low BEFORE C19 hit. You either want the economy locked down to stop the spread of C19, or you want it opened up to reduce unemployment. There are merits to both approaches, but you can't have both.

The states with the worst cumulative death rates, still, are NY, NJ, CT, MA, and RI, all run by democrats.

Cumulative per capita deaths are still higher in several European countries than they are here.

Yeh, I'm afraid that Trump swung that pendulum too far off center, notice I didn't say too far right. I think this poll also shows the loyalty of the Trumpsters. 17:1 are polling yes, absolutely (no reasoning necessary). Non Trumpsters are at about 2:1.

Why would you believe the commutation of sentences of convicted felons is so unusual?
Because Trump did it and not OBama?
You hate Trump and you believe he is corrupt for commuting the sentence of Roger Stone. We get that?
Tell me if you really believe that is unusual or unheard of.

List of people granted executive clemency by Barack Obama
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
By the end of his second and final term on January 20, 2017, United States President Barack Obama had exercised his constitutional power to grant the executive clemency—that is, "pardon, commutation of sentence, remission of fine or restitution, and reprieve"[1]—to 400 individuals convicted of federal crimes. Of the acts of clemency, 1715 were commutations (including 504 life sentences) and 212 were pardons.[2][3] Most individuals granted executive clemency by Obama had been convicted on drug charges,[4] and had received lengthy and sometimes mandatory sentences at the height of the war on drugs.[5]

Obama holds the record for the largest single-day use of the clemency power, granting 330 commutations on January 19, 2017, his last full day in office.[6][7] He also issued more commutations than the past 13 presidents combined.[2][8]

Wake up Norman. President Obama commuted sentences primarily of people serving decades long nonviolent drug convictions after they had been in prison for decades. Anus tangerinus commuted a guy convicted of 7 felonies by a jury of his peers before he put foot in prison. Does it matter to you that those felonies directly related to charges protecting 45 from authorized investigations? I didn't think so...
