There isn't a Republican in the field that will come close to beating her. The Presidency is hers....if she wants it...and I suspect that she does.
she is already running
damn it
Elizabeth Warren would make a much better president
Rotebaga, whatever that is..
Hillary Clinton has one strong advantage: 100% name recognition. And one medium-strength advantage: she is still associated in the public mind with the "carefree" 90s and her husband's successful (by current dismal standards) administration (even though her botched health care reform came close to destroying it).
But not much beyond that, really. She was not a memorable Senator or Secretary of State, and had not made any significant contribution otherwise.
My guess is she will delay any formal announcement until the last moment: the lack of serious competition from Democrats will make it the safest tactic, and if the GOP will be coalescing around a strong ticket (Chris Christie/Susana Martinez, for example), she will simply decline the honor.
Navy's poll was lacking.
Rotebaga, whatever that is.
Oh, I think Hillary's going for it regardless. "Eight years for Bill, and eight years for Hill,".
Thank you cpgrad08. This poll allows us to make a prediction.
I think it is a type of root vegetable. I'm not too certain on that.

I will say this though, its simply a matter of whether she is the nominee or not. If she gets the nod she will be president.
You seriously think so?
I agree that a lot can happen between now and then, but...If the GOP (or a hypothetical third party) will produce a minimally viable candidate, what exactly does she have to offer?
Forget "Christie/Martinez". Let it be something like Rubio, or Jindal, or Nikki Haley. There - you have a "compelling personal story", as American as the bloody apple pie.
Hillary Clinton? - well, she had married the right guy. Fireworks. Other than that?
Hillary has way to much baggage and we still have 2 years to go......everything she touched turns to ****.
LOL....you guys are going to need a hell of a lot more than a manufactured scandal...ala Benghazi to stop Hilary. Good luck.
She is 66, and this is a grueling job. Look at how even the aloof Obama has aged. And she doesn't have the natural sunny disposition of Ronald Reagan or Silvio Berlusconi. Of course, she never lacked in ambition, but she is still human: A "place in the history books" is worth only that much.
That's what most of us would say. But most of us aren't career politicians, either, and none of us is the venal, grasping, ruthlessly ambitious Hillary Clinton.
