Now that many more players are taking a knee, and it seems the NFL supports it, do you think a team will pick up CK?

I think so. You?

What are the chances that he puts in the work staying ready to step in and play?

I say near zero.

NO

No, I don't think Calvin Klein will get an NFL contract.

He blew it after his girlfriend's racist tweet against the Ravens owner:

The Aug. 2 tweet by Nessa Diab compared a picture of Lewis hugging Bisciotti to a scene from "Django Unchained," in which Samuel L. Jackson as a loyal house slave held Leonardo DiCaprio's cruel plantation owner character.

"His girl [Diab] goes out and put out this racist gesture and doesn't know we are in the back office about to try to get this guy signed," Lewis said. "Steve Bisciotti has said it himself: 'How can you crucify Ray Lewis when Ray Lewis is the one calling for Colin Kaepernick?'"[/QUOTE

Ray Lewis said Baltimore Ravens didn't sign Colin Kaepernick after girlfriend's 'racist' tweet

Basically, Ray Lewis tried to get Kaepernick back in the NFL and Kaepernick GF called Ray Lewis a house n****.

I would be a liar if I said I cared if he ever played football again.

There's a lot of talented kids out there that would just love to have an opportunity to make it big in the NFL that would not use their new found fame as a means to divide the fans of their teams with politics. Next year's trades and those who find themselves "free agents" will be interesting.

So Kaep's was to be divisive?

Riiiiiiight.

They would stay in their place so to speak.

The NFL is losing millions over this. And fair or not, Kapernick is in the bulls eye. Professional sports has let identity politics into their business. They are going to pay a big price.

NGL game gear will be selling like Kapernicks 49er jersey - $10 on clearance last year.

Other--I don't care one wit about CK or the NFL.

I think so. He's made a point that he's stayed in shape so he can play immediately.

Then all that needs to happen is some team owner needs to see money in hiring him.

IMO, CK's protest channeling BLM was dumb and pointless, but from it something real emerged--the true racism in America--a black person does something white people do not like, everyone loses their ****ing mind.

Don't you dare make this into race to be something it isn't. Kaepernick is evidently a Communist. For that man to address the rest of the country with his first interview after taking his first knee wearing a Fidel Castro tee shirt and socks depicting police as pigs and declare oppression was a friggin joke to anyone who got a decent education and knows that Castro oppressed thousands of his people because they did not agree with him politically. Many died in their protest. It was absolutely brutal. There is a reason Kaepernick is a "free agent" and part of what I just stated plays into it.

If Kaepernick ever gets a contract it will be most likely be with the CFL. I hear Johnny football is considering the CFL but seems to be some resistance in the Canadian football league in him being signed. At least this year.

You mean like blacks killing black at a record pace....yeah I see your point.

I don't see why a team would want to pick Kaep up. He is not good enough to be a starter, he has no potential to improve and he doesnt have very many of the desired qualities of a back up QB.

It's hard to follow, the NFL apparently blackballed him because he was black, but now that all these guys are taking a knee the NFL is no longer racist?

Kap says he is working out and ready to play if a team calls! So am I!!! Fat chance either of us gets the call!

I actually think he is now more likely to get a call.
