Why you don't know anyone who died from COVID

Welp. I know yet another person that died of COVID. His wife is torn up.

2 kids.

At the inflated death claims by the CDC of 125,000, over 80% of those are over 65. Unless you have a grandma or granpa around or know someone in a nursing home, the chances are slim you would know anyone who died from it. But, for all those who attended the socialist public skool system here is the math for all 125,000 deaths:

3 people in ten thousand have die from it. Of those three, at least 2 are over 65
37 people in a hundred thousand have died from it. Of those, 30 of them were over 65 and just 7 under 65
378 people in a million have died from it. Of those 302 were over 65 and 76 were under 65
3,780 people in ten million died. Of those 3,024 were over 95 and just 756 were under 65
125,000 people out of 330 million have died. Of those 100,000 were over 65 and just 25,000 were under 65

Now you know that you can sleep well tonight. No more fretting and nail biting. Sleep tight.
hey. good call.

The depths "conservatives" will go to in order to minimize the loss of life they do not care about knows no bounds.
We are not minimizing the loss of life. The loss of life is minimal if you are healthy and not already dying. I have lots of family members in their 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's who have had covid19 and not a single one of them have died from covid19 so far. I have lost family members to cancer, heart attacks, and old age since this pandemic started. People are still dying and will continue to die. That is the only thing that is for sure is we all get a round trip ticket. So live life to it's fullest because you are going to die.

Sure glad Republicanism, Neo CONservatism and or Trumpism gave so many folks the cover to be the openly nasty and inhumane bastages they always wanted to be!

The difference is people didn't have to die, if worthless Trump supporting assholes would have adhered to the polices of mask wearing instead of being selfish ***** pricks. I lost two family members to COVID, so the anti-mask wearing crowd can go **** themselves as far as I am concerned.

We all get a round trip, but we all would rather die of old age than a virus that we did not have to contract in the first place, that could have been prevented.

HOLY SHIT!!!! bwhahahahahahah well this was a failed and moronic thread that certainly failed dan got the shit kicked out of it LMAO

This virus is not going away any time soon unfortunately. The only one who had any hope of stopping this virus was the Chinese government and they decided not to. The flu virus from 1918 pandemic is still our there killing people over 100 years later. The sad reality is if you are vulnerable to one of these cold or flu viruses you need to get the vaccine and stay as healthy as you can. These cold and flu viruses are not going away any time soon. If we had been doing the research needed to bring them under control for the last 100 years we might be in a position to render most of them harmless. But unfortunately the reality is even if we do take care of this virus another one will come along and take it's place. This battle has been under way for billions of years now. To think we will end it any time soon is most likely not going to happen.

I am truly sorry for your loss.

Just when you think they've hit bottom...they start digging.

No more fretting and nail biting, eh?

I guess that would be okay if you are not among the ones that actually died. Then again and as far as fretting and nail biting, there is something else that needs to be considered if you are among the living that caught Covid (large amount of the population)

In some people, lasting health effects may include long-term breathing problems, heart complications, chronic kidney impairment, stroke and Guillain-Barre syndrome — a condition that causes temporary paralysis. Some adults and children experience multisystem inflammatory syndrome after they have had COVID-19 .

I remember the Republican party losing their mind and frothing at the mouth that Obamacare was going to kill Grandpa. Today they're disregarding Grandpa entirely as he dies from a completely preventable pandemic just so Fudruckers could reopen.

The death pannels will be everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a VAERS report.

I worked with multiple people who died. I also missed two weeks of work this year though I never tested positive. It was because I was exposed to someone unvaccinated and over the age of 65 who had the omicron variant. She's fine BTW.

What they said at the beginning is still true--COVID is a cold. It happens to have a lethal secondary effect. If that effect never kicks in, then you feel like shit for a week and get better.

If you haven't already you should go to the thread that has the poll asking about if you know anyone that died of COVID.

I am not surprised at your answer.

People like you always live in a fantasy world where reality is to be made fun of. Unfortunately, the reality is that we live in the real world and not a fantasy world and fantasy talk solves nothing in the real world, meaning that you are not a person that looks for and comes up with solutions, but a person that sits back and lets things happen to others and to himself.

It is sad (but true) that you are exactly the kind of a person that says "I did not think that could happen to me and therefore I was not prepared for it". You are not a doer but a blind-by-choice victim. Ironic, to say the least.

So people who got Covid and weren't vaccinated had complications and those who got the shot had complicatins.

extree! Extree. Real all about it.
