Why we must remrmber the past

We absolutely must remember the past and not re-write it.

An on going example is what is happening right now. A good percentage of young people say they like socialism. Yet past history tells us when only the government has guns which always seems to happen in countries with socialism, look what happened last century. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 MILLION people were killed.

There are two really true facts here that history teaches us, don't turn socialist and don't give up your guns.

Since apparently your public schools didn't teach you historical facts of the 20th century, that would be the USSR with Stalin, Germany with Hitler, and China with Mao. You are welcome.

2) Don't turn socialist because they have killed 100 million of their own people.

3) Don't give up you guns, and prevent 1 and 2.


Look at it this way. People with guns are free voting citizens. People without guns are slaves or dead, see number 2.

And---------------if you have a really bad memory for history, you don't have to go that far back in history. How about 2 years where Bernie was telling us how WONDERFUL socialism is, and pointed to Venezuela. Now if you are lucky, you might be able to get a pulled puppy sandwich.

Just remember the steps, fools fall for socialism because they thing they will get something for nothing. Socialism degenerate into communism, communism degenerates into dictatorship, and then you get dead people.

So don't lazy drones drive the country into socialism in the first place.

China and Russia... 100 million might be high but it a good argument can be made that Mao killed 40 million and Stalin 20 million. Hitler killed 15 million or so... but he is not a normal socialist.

Also, I think having a laptop and some serious hacking skills is going to be far more valuable against a tyrannical government than firearms alone. So I hope you have a better plan than just getting into a shooting match with a government that has significantly superior weapons and technology.
