Why shut down everything when more than 96 percent survive (virus)

It’s been really fun to see the same people screaming about death panels for old folks when Obamacare was being passed now being blasé about old people dying of a disease.

Nice deflection to the point I made(wink)

Okay, you win

4% is still a lot close to ZERO than its not

Alright, here's a math test for you in multiple parts:

1)What is the US population?
2)What percentage of the US population is projected to be infected?
3)What is 4% of that number?

Sorry, but the libs are being, as always, irrational and worse, political...

I am 99 percent sure that the percentage who don't survive is even much lower than 4 percent... But I am using the lib,s figures

There have been tests on healthy ppl that show antibodies to the virus in something like 20 percent of those tested which means they had the virus and recovered before they even knew they had it...which means it is closer to half of a percent...not 4 or 5 percent who die

Elite dems couldn't care less if the economy goes into the ditch as the result ofc them instilling and propogating fear over this virus..

In fact, I say they want the economy to be as bad as possible so Trump looks bad

.Politics rules with these idiots

Just as in 2016, I think the Trump looks bad is backfiring.

Liberals typically underestimate the intelligence of the other than liberal segment of the population.

Your value for life is sickening

Drawing the line based upon an exact number that is unacceptable is hard. Acting based upon the principle that measures should be taken to protect the lives of our fellow countrymen isn't.

Now that was out there

Aside from the idea that you don't think older folks lives have value and economic impact, you would have only changed the number to 3% with that statistic.

We also don't have that many people in nursing homes.

only changed the number to 3% with that statistic.

Okay you win

we'll go with 3% against the other 97%

Oh ****!

Your concern for the sick and elderly is touching.

Ah.... typical emotional Rhetoric?

Especially terminally ill people anyway?

May I suggest you go back to the drawing board and research what "Terminally ill" is?

Just stop it... just stop

Okay, so we've established that,

1)You don't know what percentages are.
2)How to calculate percentages.
3)What the word "projected" means.

Is there anything you do know?

We've establish that you have faith in their "projections" which haven't been so accurate(wink)

In a thread that discusses percentages, don't you think you should know some math? Don't you think you should know what words mean? (wink)

You're the guy who brought up "projections"?

Things can change(wink)

I sure do

I seen their "projection" timeline fail a few times(wink)

Every single thing you say is wrong, so let's take this one at a time:

1)What is the population of the United States? I'm starting with an easy one so you don't get scared and run off.

How much will it help when opening up the economy collapses the health sector? What happens when hospitals are full to capacity with Covid patients and people with other life threatening diseases or injuries cannot get treated?

Good grief, you chicken littles have been shouting this nonsense from the beginning, and none of it ever came to pass. Shutting down actually does more harm to hospitals than not. Shutting down leaves all those "other life threatening diseases or injuries" untreated, and causes the hospitals to hemorrhage capital, putting them in jeopardy of shutting down permanently.

Ah.... typical emotional Rhetoric?
You’re only willing to let the elderly and already terminally ill die? Why draw the line there? Why not allow babies, teens, and all other adults to die, too?

May I suggest you go back to the drawing board and research what "Terminally ill" is?
Are you suggesting that terminally ill people aren’t sick? Maybe you should go back to the drawing board.

Based on that article, you would think rural communities would take cv19 more seriously instead of looking at it as a city or blue state problem. As a result, you now have this...
