Why isn’t the Mueller report being released?

1. You have no clue as to what you speak.

2. If you think that you do, you need to take it up with AG Barr and Mr. Mueller who is helping him prepare it for release.

LOL... The letter you use as support for your position talks about the public release of the report. The HPSCI is entitled, under the law, to the entire, full report. I don't need to take anything up with the AG, I assure you Chairman Schiff will be taking up the matter with the AG.

Do you honestly believe that the executive branch can withhold information from congress? It's a laughable position now and was in prior administrations. The executive branch is CO-EQUAL to the executive branch and has constitutional responsibilities of oversight.

The law you cite applies to intelligence agencies, not law enforcement. Nor is intelligence data the only reason Barr is examining the report. I'd bet a lot that he has a much better idea of law related to what can and can't be released and what cannot.

Sigh.... The house rules that govern the HPSCI put the DOJ under the oversight of the HPSCI. Barr has been an AG for a few months, I'm sure he is a fine lawyer but let's not kid ourselves on his grasp of the law related to oversight. We can debate for days but I feel very confident the HPSCI will be seeing the full report. In the mean time, every stalling tactic Barr uses will be used to undermine the legitimacy of his handling of the report.

He should tread carefully, the HPSCI can also vote to release ANY classified information they have if they vote that it is in the public interest. Nunes opened up that pandoras box last year... All completely legal...

Sigh. Barr KNOWS the legal relationship between DOJ and HPSCI. Far better and in more detail than you, I'd bet. No stalling, just professional, legal processing.

The DOJ is still working on the Comey-Lynch report on Hilary Clinton before releasing it. When they get that done and release it then they can get on to the next item, the Mueller Report. Hopefully it won't take the 2+ years they've been working on the Comey-Lynch report on Clinton.

And again.

Still making irrelevant commentary [to] the time it is taking to prepare for release.
Or do you not realize he is preparing for release to the public?

What exactly is it that you do not understand about what I am discussing or how what you are presenting is irrelevant to that?
You keep trying to engage me in something I am not discussing even after I told you they could request what ever they want?
What do you not understand about all this?

As has been posted previously, Barr is dancing as hard as he can dance around his nonsense. Now he is telling us what his 4 pages of nonsense was not intended to be. Well Bill, then why did you make it what it was? You got caught didn't you.

Keep dancing Bill. It ain't flyin'. You are just digging a deeper whole in yet another Trumpian cesspool for yourself. Nothing Trump touches does not end up drowning in drowning in the worst kind of caustic sewage.

That is some awful stupid **** you just posted.

The hold-up is that the GOP knows there are things unfavorable to them and their party leader in the report. Barr was brought on as an alternative to Sessions because trump and he obviously have an agreement that Barr is going to act as trump's personal protector. Mueller's not contradicting Barr's summary at this time because Mueller is a professional and won't join the MMA-type public opinion melee trump is most comfortable with.

If when Mueller comes before congress we'll learn more.

If I'm wrong - why did the GOP release the Starr report immediately for the whole world to see vs. why are they withholding the Mueller report?

Foul! Two minutes in the penalty box for using facts.

You're still flailing tres. Your last two posts were attempts to make this about me, you've failed.

You were wrong in your attempt to defend lesh's statement and lesh was wrong in the attempt to make up something Napolitano said to bolster his/her agenda. Hell lesh didn't even defend the statement.

Stop digging tres.

I don't dig. I'm not an ignorant Trump supporter who can't face the truth. I deal in facts. That's another reason why I don't support the liar in chief.

Lesh faced the truth and admitted he made the statement up about Judge Napolitano. Face it tres.
