Why I think trump will win in 2020!

First, it will have nothing to do with Trump. Although I believe most GOP politico's do not like Trump, but they are afraid of his base and have learned the golden rule over the past 20 years, stay together and vote together for the GOP candidate no matter who he is!! This is especially important since the party base is not the majority and is getting smaller each year. The real reason trump will win is the total stupidity of those who call them selves Dems. While the GOP party sticks together, the Dems look at themselves as progressives or Black or moderates or young or older and not as a consolidated Dem party member. We saw it clearly in the 2016, when a Dem does not get the candidate who he sees as "one with my ideas", he will either vote for the GOP candidate in protest or just not vote. That kind of person got Trump elected in 2016 and will do so again in 2020. The Dem progressives are hinting that if they do not get the candidate of their choice they will again stay home or vote for trump. The other Dem groups are doing the same. This seems especially true of the Black voters who are saying if you so not pick one of ours, you lose our vote as it will be a sign of taking us for granted. So the Dems can not choose a candidate or candidates that meet all the criteria of all of their groups and so will lose voters and the election. The Dems learned nothing from 2016 while the GOP did.
I think that Trump did what no force in recent history has done - unite the Dem Party!

I think they'll come out united, against Trump.

If losing one's train of thought matter, Trump wouldn't have been nominated.

Trump's greatest strength is appealing to people who are fed up with democratic government and willing to give government power over to a tyrant to get things done. Any Democratic candidate that can convince Americans that the government can have a positive impact on peoples' lives has a very good chance of beating Trump. After all, Trump, and the GOP have shown a hostility to peoples' rights, a hostility to peoples' healthcare and college tuition, a hostility to protecting the environment, indifference to growing wage gap and they have created a crisis around immigration.

Enough people might decide that we need more than spectacles and want the government to actually function.

Trump has another year to do and say more crazy stuff that either endangers our nation or just makes enough people tired of having a mad man in the White House.

The last time we had a two term Republican president, the country had the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. Trump's and the GOP's policies can pave the way for that happening again.

We shall see if Americans want to chance that again.

That's rather funny but contrary to the reality. Do tyrants let their opponents bad mouth them daily for two years? Do they hand over millions of pages of documents to an investigative body comprised almost wholly of their opponents? Do they allow an election to take place which erodes their power in Congress? Of course not. It's nonsense.

Also, most all the things Trump has tried to address have been festering for years, especially the immigration mess. Neither party has the interest, will or balls to tackle immigration and fix it. They're happy with the status quo. They like their cheap labor and future voting roll fodder. Trump is actually trying to make our border and our laws mean something again and most people want that. Only the politicians and the insiders don't want it and the Democrats don't want it because Trump DOES want it. If Trump were suddenly for open borders, Democrats would start talking about his irresponsibility and be agitating for a wall. That's what TDS does.

You need to listen further. Sanders pretty much lays it all out. You literally stopped right before it got good.

I've been watching Bernie for years now. So thanks but I won't waste my time. I am pretty sure I am up on all his agenda by now. I like the man personally. I cannot accept his solutions for most of the nation's problems:

Bernie Sanders on the Issues

Your loss. Keep allowing RepubliCONS to steal your future and your children's future.

Sanders is the sole pro-worker candidate.

He's a total fraud. A millionaire who wants to divest the rest of us of our property. His "solutions" would utterly destroy the economy because they would destroy all incentives for people to make money. That's why socialism fails and will always fail.

Is that a "yes", you don't accept your own polls?

I definitely do not accept any poll that shows biden in the lead.

1. The DNC was putting Biden in polls before he even announced.
2. Same for Betonmystork.
3. of course doing this will give someone an artificial bloat in the polls.

So no. I don't trust those polls, because it was set as a rigged game to begin with.

Sanders has been laying it all out for 40 plus years. Total successes: 0.

Sanders has already completely changed the conversation in this nation. I'd say, even if he loses the primary, in the end, he has won.

the push to the left has begun.

Buckle up, buttercup.

No, President Trump is the pro worker candidate by creating an economy that is benefiting ALL demographics including what has been the hard core unemployed. That beat socialism hands down every single time.

Except, of course, for the pesky little fact that he's literally done nothing that you're describing.

Wrong. Trump has ignored the plight of workers. He has worked hand over fist for the rich, not the working class of americans.

Trump is an autocratic oligarch. Nothing more, nothing less.

And yet when the right talks about how great the economy is going you guys say it was already going in that direction. Please make up your mind. Is it or isn't it?

Bush administration economy started the biggest economic recession since the Great Depression.

Obama economy recovered and grew steadily thoughout his administration.

Trump inherited a strong growing economy and is in the process of putting us back into a recession.

Reliable data coming in says that he has literally done everything I am describing however much the we-hate-Trump-all-the-time pundits and media try to distort that and make it look like something it isn't.

No, he hasn't. the majority of his tax benefits went to the rich. Not the workers. Moreover, claiming "tax breaks create jobs" is a bad thing to land on. Firstly, no one gives a **** if you create a bunch of jobs that don't pay enough to keep people off of government aid, or, keep them from working 3 ****ing jobs just to get by.

We have the ability to make this life better for everyone. It's not freedom if you can't go to the doctor and get well. It's not freedom to have no family life because you need to work 3 jobs, which inflates divorce rates and ruins marriages. It's not freedom for people to be saddled with endless debt so some rich hucksters can buy new ****ing yachts.

It's not patriotism to suffer because some "strict dad" dickheads in congress believe in some misguided notion about liberty and political economy.

The reason a substantial part of tax relief went to the so-called rich--we are talking mostly small businesses here--is because 50% of Americans are paying little or no taxes as it is. You can't get a tax cut when you aren't paying taxes.

But the tax relief going to businesses, along with elimination of a lot of unnecessary and oppressive regulation has resulted in a business boom like we haven't seen since right after WWII. And that boom has resulted in good permanent jobs for those who want them, higher wages, and increasing family income for the first time in quite some time now.

THAT is how you are pro worker and not by making them victims and more and more dependent on government.

Democrats/socialists create dependents.
President Trump is creating tax payers.

Biden will be 78 on inauguration day. He'd be 86 after two terms. He's already slurring words and losing his train of thought. Is this the guy you really think can beat Trump? Bernie is even older than Biden and is out there telling us about the glories of socialism as we watch Venezuela implode. You think he can beat Trump? No, the Dems are just going to have to look to 2024 and, if they bleat about Russia for the next 6 years, they might lose then, too.

I hope they do bleat about Russia for the next SIX years. We will be here to remind them that the Democrats sought dirt on Trump from Russian government sources; via Steele and "a senior Russian Foreign Ministry figure and a former top level intelligence officer still active in the Kremlin".
:lamo

The Clinton campaign sought dirt on Trump from Russian officials. Where’s the outrage?
