Why do Republicans have such a rabid hatred for Hillary???

Yep. The impeachment proves how partisan the Dems are

No, the impeachment proves Democrats care about obeying the Constitution and Republicans only care about partisan power. These facts cannot be ignored.

That I won't deny.

Then you cant link it to Trump and nationalism as you were attempting to do. But if you want to blame nationalism for hatred of political leaders, how do you explain the hatred on the left for Trump, Bush and Reagan, just to name a few? Or is the left not capable of hatred because they are all sweetness and light?

In 2016, I voted for hillary without enthusiasm, after considering the alternative *shudder*. I was truly afraid of what this country would endure under a trump presidency. Sadly, time has proven that my fears were not unfounded.

Exactly the same here. I expected she would win but I was also expecting the "win" to be the hollow and somewhat "mediocre" presidency I knew Hillz would be.
Nothing to write home about but nothing that would turn into the wholesale destruction of democratic values and even the democratic process itself.

But I have to stress the fact that it IS ALL our fault that Trump won. Too many people on this side of the fence STAYED HOME and SULKED instead of going to the polls. A few got pissed off enough to vote for Trump "to teach us a lesson"...I even saw posts saying exactly that right here and on other political forums at the time. Not a huge number, but don't forget...Hillz only lost the EC by a very small margin, so small groups of committed voters actually had a large effect.

But STILL, by far the most damage was done by the people who stayed home sulking, or who "just didn't even bother" because they assumed it was a done deal.

Lazy Democratic voters, sulking lefty independents and apathetic types who just didn't bother.
That's is precisely what allowed Trump to win.

A few hundred thousand more committed Dem voters, and I'd be sitting here griping about what a tool Hillary is, but on the whole I think we'd actually see a couple of small victories, like strengthening and maybe even fixing the many flaws of the ACA, for instance.

Don't forget, it's also the lazy and apathetic types who also allowed GOP victories in the House and Senate as well. Hillz probably would have faced a divided Congress, Dem House and GOP Senate the first two years.

But that is still better than Trump.
Pennywise the Clown would have been better than Trump.

Perhaps not a hateful component, but rather smugness, simply because of being heard instead of disregarded.
I believe there's a continuum from what you describe to what I describe, with many points in between. But within MAGA there's indeed a hateful, racist, White Nationalist, component. I know what I'm seeing.

I can't believe that the question "Why do Republicans have such a rabid hatred for Hillary???" would come from a group that that has nothing but blind rampant, drooling, hatred of the President. The irony is so great as to be laughable.

Except you might not be considering the fact that, for a lot of people, their hatred of Trump stretches back all the way to the 1980's when he first appeared in the big leagues.
And for a few others, that hatred stretches back even further, like all the way to when he was just working for father Fred Trump.

Most of you only know him from either Robin Leach or "The Apprentice".

It has little or nothing to do with the fact that he ran as a Republican.
In fact, Democrats had a "Trump" moment when Lyndon LaRouche ran for POTUS as a Democrat.

twump's been impeached, no matter how tightly you clench your tiny fists in impotent rage. That collar is going to hang around his neck forever.

Sorry you can't accept that basic reality.

I see you only like your scholars when they agree with you. called selective hearing.

That's one thing we can always count on from conservatives: Projection.

The irony is so great as to be laughable.

Indeed, a Trump supporter complaining about someone else's hate. :lamo

AND THERE IT IS FOLKS.
You do realize that air fare to Russia is becoming quite affordable, yes?

Not surprising so many Trump supporters like Putin. He's worked diligently alongside Trump to promote racism in America.

Your evidence? Brennan, Clapper and Comey don't count.

They have hated this woman since she was the first lady trying to fix our healthcare crisis.

So what is it about her that triggers them so much?

Is it that she is a strong intelligent woman who is not spending her life barefoot and pregnant doing he dishes.

Or does she just scare the **** out of them???

Thoughts?

Is this a trick question? HRC has to be one of the biggest enablers for her husbands sexual deviancy that ever existed in the political arena. Going back to the Arkansas days when Bill was governor she would put together teams to discredit accusers for the dozens of women that fell prey to his unwanted advances, including rape.

Never mind the fact that she is everything that is vile and wrong in politics. I can’t imagine anyone other than the truly naive of her history that could support this twisted women with anything.

Already happened. Delicious to watch how much that frightens you.

Is this impeachment like the wicked witch Nancy waving her broom and proclaiming something? I put no stock in her proclamations. When she delivers something to the Senate, we can talk.

Not surprising, but sickening enough that I wish someone could make it possible to just drop every last one of them off in Putin-land, seeing as how they love the mofo so much.

Hillary is an intelligent female who refuses to shut up, go back into the kitchen where the GOP thinks that she belongs and bake cookies. The fact that she routinely serves their head up on a platter only enrages them more.

More honest that Hillary.

You trying for some kind of "Last Word Freak" award?
You already indicated in no uncertain terms that you prefer a Russian dictator, and I already cordially invited you to hop on the next plane to Russia.

That pretty much settles things with regard to your views on America's democratic constitutional republic. Was there anything else you wanted to let us all know?

We dodged a bullet when she was defeated. Phew!
