Keep in mind the position I'm in. Based on my racial group, the media considers me part of the 'evil white dogs' just outside the yard. Therefore, I can't fill the role of the dog trained to stay fearful in the yard, nor do I fulfill the part of the owner. Although my race in maligned as the cause of the 'protective' dog owner / dog relationship, there is a huge benefit from this. At no point in my life was I told that another race was the cause of my ills. This leaves me without that conditioning, therefore I am the cause of my own ills. This serves to boost my concept of self-reliance.
Had I been conditioned at an early age to blame the superior Asians for my lot in life, and voted for a political party that promised to either lift me up or bring Asians down, I would have been wasting my time. However, I can imagine that I probably wouldn't have known it. There would be plenty of people telling me to not bother bettering myself, and to vote for the party that told me Asians were against me. Maybe I could hope for the day went the anti-Asian white party came to power, and whites outnumbered Asians 10 to 1. It's happened in South Africa with the blacks. They are still waiting for government to solve their problems, and doing next to nothing for themselves.
