The fact is FDA hasn't said the drug was not effective in some cases. Mostly controlled usage of the drug in hospitals and many doctors around the country agree. What the FDA said it could not recommend usage outside a controlled environment. So you are kind of using the Apple/orange argument.

I use my personal experience...My work mates and myself have traveled too many countries where malaria is present and we have taken the drug many, many times over 25 years with no side effects. I am guessing that is self testing with good results.

The NEJM is one of the most respected journals in medicine. Almost every other respected medical journal has stated the same, not just the NEJM.

The FDA, CDC, and NIH have stopped it.

Most states, even some red states have banned its use.

Countries have banned its use.

Studies from dozens of other countries have confirmed it is not a safe treatment.

As for "recent" studies, the only ones still trying to testing it are those who are, like yourself, more interested in Trump being right than saving lives than treating this disease. So you won't find many for the same reason they aren't conducting studies to test the effectiveness of sugar babies as a treatment.

I'm not sure what firing Hahn would necessarily do. Fauci most likely has political connections to many inside the FDA, firing Hahn could backfire.
