Why do gays (not straights) think everyone should know about their sexuality?

You rarely see Straight Pride parades, although I did hear of one not long ago... :)

But you are always and forever hearing of gay pride parades

Whenever there is a murder of a single man, the first thing police look for is: his gay boyfriend (as suspect). They think of this even though there may be no evidence the guy was gay (a lot of gays obviously like to stay in the closet)

Then there is the stat that many gays are unhappy and depressed..

If I am not mistaken more gays commit suicide than straights... like way more..

There is something in all humans that rebels against what is unnatural and perverse.. It's just that some do not listen to t hat.. go against that regardless

It's because of people like you who insist on calling them "unnatural" or "perverse". A lot of gay people do feel ashamed of themselves, just because of who they are. That's why we have pride parades, to tell gay people there's nothing wrong with them, they are loveable just the way they are.

How old were you when you made the decision to be straight? Was it a difficult decision for you? Have you struggled with your decision since?

Maybe not, but you do see all sorts of other parades, for social, religious, political, whatever reasons. No one has to attend though. :shrug:

As long as someone is acting on their own exercise of free will with another informed and consenting adult (or close in age minors, pending parental acceptance) why is it any concern of yours?

There was a straight pride parade. If I'm not mistaken they literally attracted tens of people.

Edit: my mistake, they did attract many counter protesters

I was born that way as are ALL humans

but some want to validate evil and perversity... they will learn from reality that .. you can't defy reality

Or you liberals would say as long as the wife doesn't complain about the husband beating the hell our of her and claims to her friends and relatives and the police when they are called to the house, that nothing is wrong, I'm ok, nothing to see here. It's all ok.

For the most part I don't try to withhold any rights or privileges to gay folk unless it flies in the face of my religious beliefs, or beliefs regarding biological science. Two dudes having sex just is outside my norms. Now if they want to carry on in private and they are of age and both consenting, I'm not going to bother them. I don't demand they be arrested beaten or tried and jailed or anything of that nature. I do think its unnatural. My biggest problem is when gay people seem to have to have me and other straight people condone their lifestyle as natural, normal and perfectly ok. I don't, but I don't know why they care. I don't care if animal rights folks get bent out of shape when I go deer hunting. Doesn't bug me one bit. But gay seem to crave approval.

And Ed of Seattle tells us that unmarried women immediately after sex want to steal cars and do drugs. Clearly most crime is attributable to godless sex. That explains why sexually active lesbians are serial killing car thieves. :eek:
