We've got Elizabeth Warren saying that Bernie said not too long ago that a woman could not win the presidency. And, we've got Bernie denying it. So, which one of them is lying?

I think it's probably a miscommunication. Apparently they were discussing their strengths and weaknesses vs Trump and Bernie probably said it would be hard, or even impossible, for a woman to beat Trump due to sexism. Warren takes it as him saying a woman can't win the presidency and so there it is.

Bernie pulled a Trump; said something he didn't mean.

Not that it matters, because both, while running against each other at the moment, will support the other when the time comes, I find Bernie to have more integrity than Warren.

Yeah, that ‘forked tongue’ thing and all...........

I don't know anything about this, but obviously Bernie Sanders knows a woman can be president because he endorsed Hillary Clinton after losing to her in the Democratic primaries. He did not just promise to vote for her or say we can't let Trump win, but said at the DNC why she is highly qualified for the job.

I believe Bernie does not think this. At most, my guess is he said something along the lines of a man might have higher chances than woman vs Trump

I believe Warren might be exaggerating or even took it to mean more than what he said.

Either way, this is a big nothing burger that the media unfortunately fell for and escalated.

I think it's possible that a conversation happened in which two people came away with their own interpretations of it. I respect both people as inherently honest and fiercely principled, and it's easy to imagine that they both had their own take on whatever was said.

In any case, this is a little soap opera that will be forgotten in a few days when Trump tries starting a shooting war with Canada or something.

Why does a Trumper even care?

Where have you been since logging on here since 2015?

Haven't you learned by now that Democrats never lie?

I wouldn't know because I'm not a Trumper. Don't know who I am voting for but I am pretty damn sure it isn't going to be any of the crazy Democrats. But, that doesn't mean it is going to be Trump. I didn't vote for Trump in 2016.

0 votes for Bernie. I voted Warren. Because she's lying or at least misrepresenting. And she leaked it, 100%.

Entirely plausible. but Warren is a real beeyotch for not having a heart to heart with Bernie to clear up any misunderstanding before her camp leaked it.
She's a real snake.

I didn't either. But am in 2020.

both, they are politicians, lying is their middle name.

I believe Bernie. I also believe his words were taken out of context.

I've echoed the sentiment many times. It will be difficult for a female Dem to go up against Trump and I think it's a losing strategy.
Problem is, Klobuchar is the best of the bunch right now.

Both, and both too stupid to know truth.

Know enough about lying Lizzie to know she's not beneath playing the woman card.

She isn't known as Pinocchio Pocahontas for nothing

She tried the minority card and Trump masterfully slapped her down on that one.

While Bernie's politics are a complete fraud and he hasn't really worked more than a few days of his life, at least he honest that he thinks no one should have to work if they don't feel like it and that's why he wants to bring his philosophy of not working to the world. My bet is Pochy is a lying snake.
