Who should/will Joe Bidén select for vicepresident?

The best choice would be Condi Rice. She's a black woman, and when Ol' Joe goes full Alzheimer's, we'd have a decent president.

Probably not. She downgraded the position of National Coordinator for Counterterrorism just before the 9/11 attack and supported starting a war with Iraq.

Ol Joe supported the Iraq mess, too. You're voting for him, right?

Elizabeth Warren because she works for everyone. Having a "white woman" pulling for all and she has some history of speaking up for the black population.

Conservative racists will be mean and nasty to any choice but more so to a black person. Obama was always being subjected to racist BS.

I love Warren, but I really want someone younger. I think it will be Harris, who I like. I like Val Demings too.

I have never had much qualms with those who voted to grant Bush the authorization to wage the Iraq war, despite Robert Byrd's brilliant speech against it. The vote was brought up a month before an election and few politicians survive the charge of being soft or weak when they vote against a war. Look what happened to the disabled war vet Max Cleland when he voted against it. I blame my fellow countrymen who are always so eager to wage war. That is our weakness.

Rice didn't just support the war, she contributed to making it happen, debacle and all. When you consider that and her downgrading of counter- terrorism, one has to wonder, what's good about her?

Well, she's not a socialist gun grabber. So there is that.

My sentiments, too.

If Warren was 50-something, she'd make a great partner for Biden. Her progressive bonafides are unimpeachable, and her policy ideas are above and beyond anyone else's.

I do like Harris and Demmings as well.

Same as you.

An honest R post; thank you.
I'll need to duck from my leftist friends after this post.

I believe that mandatory means-testing should be done for ALL public expenditures, which would be very complicated.
It's the only way to achieve financial solvency and will require sacrifice from all.

I believe in the Israeli policy of giving two years to the government, though with many differences, since their's is for military service.
Think of it as a mandatory AmeriCorps in a person's area of expertise.

The jobs of the future must be imagined now.
I believe in renewable energy, thorium reactors, and the nuclear fusion potentials of the stellarator and tokamak.

Mandatory recycling is the only way we can clean up the mess we've made of the Earth and would be a source of jobs.
As well, we're already seeing landfills being Emptied of metal and natural gas.
Look at the mask and PPE industry -- It's not going away any time soon -- we've seen ocean plastic turned into masks.

Necessary Projects like Infrastructure are known to multiply their way through the economy at an approximate value of 1.7.
It's obvious medical fields are hurting, especially with RNs, CNAs, and NPs.
I only had to teach for two years in Illinois to get full tuition, but that started in 1971.

That's enough for now.
I don't want to go to my grave seeing this Nation like it is, without blame.

Karen Bass on the Biden ticket will give republicans plenty to attack.

At least you’ve accepted the fact that Biden will be POTUS. Stage 5 of Grief completed!
