You are seriously questioning Comey's entire testimony which he did under oath with the whole world watching and every politician in Congress? You think the FBI director purposely came up with a conspiracy theory to make up fake notes in order to say that Trump wasn't under investigation? His narrative didn't change about the tapes. He never claimed Trump obstructed justice, just that there is a high probability of it, and he probably still thinks that. He said he hopes there are tapes so that they can corroborate what he said. Trump was the one who was scared of these tapes.
 
I would believe Comey before I would believe the vast majority of politicians, and that includes Obama, Hillary and most definitely Trump.

Obama's approval rating was in the 40's for the huge majority of his presidency and, as a result of that, Democrats suffered steep losses, ultimately losing both the House and the Senate, not to mention governorships and state legislatures so Bwaahaahaahaa to you.

I think they are all lying. Trump, Comey, Obama, and Hillary are all lying. I think this has been going on for ever with the only difference right now being media Hype combined with Comey grandstanding without any real evidence of wrong doing.

Right and Obama had 40s. Trump at 30s. His unknown factor is over. Turns out he's an idiot who can't change his stripes like he claimed, and oh yea on top of that he is a consistent liar. Some red states were in the purple even before the election... With an angry liberal base, they have no excuses to loose both the house and the senate, and they will probably win.

Trump could be connected to 4 lie detectors and facing a firing squad that would shot him if he there was any indication of lying...and Trump would lie his ass off. He's so pathological that he believes his own lies.

My money is and always will be on Comey for telling the truth, pending any actual, verifiable evidence against him for lying.

Do you really want to embarrass your position with that comparison? OK, you started it.

1. In his first 4 months, Obama was in the 60's; Trump is already in the 30's. You have to be awful to fall into the 30's during your honeymoon period. Fighting during the honeymoon does not bode well for the marriage.
2. Obama's numbers fell because he used his political capital to actually get something done; Trump's numbers fell because America has lost what little faith they had that he could actually be an adult and be a President.
3. Obama's numbers were in the 50's for much of his presidency; the high 40's on average; the low 40's for about a year and NEVER as low as Trump has recorded during his honeymoon period.
4. Clearly America was happier with Obama on his worst day than Trump on his best (the honeymoon).
