Who is Christine Blasey Ford?

Suspicious doesn't make it implausible, but opinions vary. Remember we were comparing this excuse to the lack of any excuse in the Garland debacle.

I think it at least equally likely that if they didn't have the "friend of a friend" relationship she claims that would be broadcast loudly as well.

Ford's claims were known month's ago; they should have been investigated then and addressed before the closing moments of the hearing.

I know you are but what am I? Don't you think an FBI investigation would find out if these women were orchestrated in any way by Democrats? Of course it would yet Republicans have resisted that move at every turn. That tells me that you are full of ****.

LOL You are the nervous one. There is a likely a reason the FBI investigation was resisted. The irony is that it would be over by now if they had done the right thing at the start.

He's comparatively rich, white and poweful - those are facts. He's no victim of a "lynching" - he's got the support of powerful people, including POTUS, with unlimited sums of money to spend to get his nomination across the finish, and who are spending it now. He's now got the FBI investigating the claims to clear him, if he's telling the truth. If they do not - and all we know is what was testified to - he STILL gets an up or down vote in the Senate, as per the law and the constitution, with the majority of that Senate republicans.

Comparing his plight to that of lynched mostly blacks in the early part of this century is offensive and stupid, and trivializes the harm done to those victims.

This is about more than an "open hearing". It's about the entire treatment this issue has received over the last few weeks.

So now we're on to strawmanning, eh? It's way past a promotion the way the Dems proceeds, as usual they attacked the very being of the man and based it on nothing more than the word of a woman who's "recovered memory" dredges up a "recovered memory" extremely unspecific as to time and location. And on that base the man is accused of a horrific crime and his name and reputation dragged through the slime. His life and his family's will never be the same.

You mean the Republicans in the FBI who took the letter Feinstein sent and said "this isn't a legal matter" and filed it? Sorry, no. The demand for an investigation came from Dems who quickly realized they were backing a losing horse based on evidence and desperately needed a delay on the vague hopes the midterms will put them back in charge.

Not at all.
They found nothing in six other investigations. If anything, the seventh one will show what most of already know, Kavanaugh did not sexually assault Ford.
 
Just breaking Trump has ordered FBI to conduct a "supplemental investigation" to last no more than one week. Senate will delay vote one week.

In fact, Mrs. Ford never corroborated her allegations.
