White House Weighs Allowing Russia to Question Ex-U.S. Envoy

gops launched Nixon in August of 1974 when polls went south for them.

Yep, it took them 3 years. But Nixon did not commit treason. If the GOP lawmakers aren't acting now, they never will, IMO.

So you'd negotiate with Putin, by trading him an American?

Holy crap. I suppose Trump isn't the worse you folks will consider.

WTF is the matter with you? Seriously? You would even consider that crap?

Apparently you can't see the difference between a facetious "suggestion" and a real one?

So what? How the hell can you equate a case with clear evidence against those 12 with nothing against the Ambassador?

Apparently (since there has been no trial) you don't know the difference between an indictment and a conviction. :coffeepap:

The credo of no soldier left behind has been shat on by the right and their CiC.
****ing degenerate assholes. This is what happens when morons grasp the helm and yet more of them cheer them on.

Its called the Mueller probe. As in, the Trump Admin has indicted Russian government officials for crimes against the USA. President Putin is simply responding in kind.

So, should we just forget about the indictments? Or Should we demand justice be served?
You guys are playing into Putins hands.

Dude, Putin will not stop denying Russian intrusion into the US election process. Are you really that naive?

Nixon’s documented treason, by George F. Will, began during the 1968 election with the sabotage of the Paris Peace Talks. Can you say arms for Iranian hostages DURING the 1980 election? Treason is in the gop DNA.

You mean "public" as in your side of the argument? I belong to the side of the "public" who don't agree with the label. :coffeepap:

I mean the public majority. You're obviously in the minority.

So why is the White House considering it. That's the question.

Oh, I was not aware of that! But that wasn't what got Nixon to resign - it was all the breaking in and all the attempted covering up of the break-ins. I wonder if Trump is as vain and as stupid as Nixon was and is recording all his conversations with everyone? That was a stupid question, huh?

Say what you will about those events, Reagan and Bush weren't denouncing the American government on foreign soil, providing cover for attacks on the United States, and offering to hand Americans over to foreign autocrats for interrogation. They were at least subtle in selling us out for political advantage.

This is next level stuff. We have a president who is openly, even proudly, disloyal to the United States, which is something we've never experienced before.

A request was made by one head of State to another...so perhaps they are "considering" how strong a response he should make to the request; perhaps to balance his faux pas during the summit meeting?

Well, I think it might be worth considering, for example in exchange for "12 GRU officers" who hacked America.

We have this big indictment furor, when everyone knows it is highly unlikely any of those 12 will show up in the USA...although judging from the prior indictments where the accused Russian businesses actually responded against all expectations, one never knows. :unsure13:

The last thing Mueller wants is for the defendents to actually show up...lol

Meanwhile, the public is reviewing whether or not to hang Trump as a traitor.

Keep playing that stupid game and calling for the killing of our President.

It isn’t helping you or that sickness of harassment and violence you and your political party keeps promoting.

Do you really think a KGB agent is going to hand over 12 of his buddies?

faux pas. That's some rich comedy. He's been saying it along with Fox, for months now.
He's continued to say it after.

Keep up the laughs.

45 knew that Putin threw the election to 45 and he has provided him cover. What's next for POTUS?

EXACTLY and one must wonder; WHY in Hell do Trump supporters completely FAIL to acknowledge these facts?

Assholes; they are all assholes that HATE America .........

Trump acts so much like a mob boss - I mean it's cartoonishly obvious!

Trump acts like a schoolyard bully. All tough talk when he's sure he has the upper hand and all craven conciliation when he thinks he's facing strength. And then once he's out of sight of the strong opponent all reversal and backpedalling. It's pathetic, really. Except that it's seriously dangerous.

Well there was Benedict Arnold but he wasn't president

I would counter that the more ‘subtle’ as you say treason of Reagan and Bush was far more dangerous to this Nation since it gave us today, especially this bastardized gop Supreme Court that could still let trump off.

Benedict Arnold, American history's greatest traitor!, tried unsuccessfully to hand over a fort to an adversary. Trump is systematically destroying our primary military and economic alliances and publicly humiliated the nation by surrendering to Russia on an international stage.
