So what about Flynn? So what about Manafort? Obama had some people to. No president is immune to people around him going off skew. There is zero evidence that any of Trump's aides, including Flynn or Manafort colluding with the Russians to influence the election. Zero! The intelligence agencies and leading Democrats have admitted so. So what that he fired Comey? Did it stop any investigations? Do you have any proof that it stopped investigations? I am going to guess that you are not an objective study when it comes to how each president affected economics. Reagan inherited double digit inflation, double digit interest rates, and double digit unemployment from the Carter administration. It was the Reagan tax cuts and economic policies that led to the nation recovering from those numbers. And the tax cuts led to a near doubling in tax revenue. Unfortunately under the Clinton administration we again got hit with tax increases. As for lifting people out of poverty, first we must stop enticing them to remain in poverty, even if it takes a bit of tough love to get it done.....such as turning welfare into workfare at least in regards to able bodied adults.

First of all, you're glossing over the intent behind the FBI Director's 10-year term - he's NOT supposed to be treated like any other political appointee.

I agree. However he still works for the justice department. He reports to the deputy attorney general. and whether you like it or not, the president can legally for him, with or without a reason. He serves at the pleasure of the president. You may not like the optics of the timing, however Comey was doing a poor job. You don't have to take my word for it. Schumer, Pelosi and many other democrats publicly stated that they had lost confidence in him.

And to suggest that the FBI investigation is a "partisan witch hunt" just reveals your own hopeless partisanship.

What hopeless partisanship would that be, sport? I am not affiliated with either party. I just vote my philosophy. You are the one letting partisanship cloud your judgement. And yes, all three investigations of alleged Trump campaign collusion with the Russians are partisan witch hunts. Deep down, you are aware of that.

Second, that investigation MAY continue, and a legitimate one will only continue if the Congress and the public demand that Trump hire someone with integrity, and not some rear end kissing lackey that Trump can order around like a political appointee. If he appointed Rudy, for example, anyone trusting that a legitimate investigation will continue is a fool. Thankfully, I believe there are enough republicans who would refuse to confirm an idiot like Rudy.

I am sure you recall in one of the Trump Hillary debates, the two candidates were asked: "Whichever one of you loses, will you accept the results of the election?" Trump hesitated to answer that and Hillary claimed that was disgusting. However trump did win and it is the Hillary camp and for that matter, the entire left that is refusing to accept the results of the election. I find that extremely disgusting. Up until 2016, this nation has been praised worldwide over our ability to transfer leadership peacefully. I'll put it bluntly. The democrats need to grow up and start acting like adults.

You do not know anything, sport. Keep in mind, just a six months ago, most of the libruls in your ranks your ranks absolutely knew Hillary would be elected president. And to be honest, I don't think Russia had any influence in our election whatsoever. I still believe that the WikiLeaks info came from one or more DNC insiders that were pissed off at how Bernie Sanders was treated.

No offense, but I do not find you anywhere close to objective enough to make that call. Trump is certainly an unconventional politician, however that is largely why he was elected. He was not part of the Washington establishment
