I would think legal citizens and residents of Hispanic origin would find things worse. You can't have 20+ million illegal aliens taking jobs, housing, etc., and not be impacted.
There is no way to get around the primary issue of illegal aliens, in a way that would be softer. How would that be possible?
First, the left doesn't want to resolve the issue. Period. The President offered the NDP leadership more than they were asking for regarding "Dreamers", etc., and they rejected it.
Illegal aliens break the law every day they reside in the country. There is no sugar coating that.
If it's not PC to discuss the facts, too bad.
The left is pandering to the Hispanic community. Just like they did to Black communities before abandoning them for the larger demographic in the Hispanic category.
If you cut through the rhetoric, Hispanic families have far more in common with the objectives of the Republican party than the NDP.
Religious, family oriented, hard working, conservative in terms of general values, etc..
But when a group says they will do something to protect that illegal alien family member, who would you support?
