What will the GOP do?

I saw speech by Ted Cruz during the Republican primaries where he addressed that very point. He said that demographics in Texas would turn the state blue soon and that would end the chances forever of a Republican President. His suggestion was that the party engage Hispanics and women.

We know how well Trump did with that suggestion!

They'll suddenly change their view on certtain issues and tey to convince everybodu that they werr always in favot of it.
1. States like Texas and Arizona will, indeed, soon become blue because the Democratic party fully supports the interests of the growing Hispanic population, which is on track to becoming the majority ethnicity of this country.
2. Eventually, I believe, the Republican party will be reborn as a party that represents the interests of the other ethnicities in this fast changing country.
a. It may, however, eventually never ever again be able to elect a Republican as President or even Senators. (Here in California, for example, the Republicans are, for all intents and purposes, totally irrelevant. As goes California, so goes the nation.)

I can see where they could attract more hispanic voters if they drop the racists, given that many hispanics aren't so keep on abortion. That could mitigate the need to attract more women voters.I saw speech by Ted Cruz during the Republican primaries where he addressed that very point. How is this possible when the Democrats have already beat them to the punch?
I believe that in the coming decades, the Democratic party will be considered the party of the majority ethnicity (Hispanic people). So the other ethnicities may feel more comfortable finding support for their interests in another party, which may or may not still bear the title of "Republican."
One thing is very clear: Today's Republican party is obviously living on borrowed time, as more and more of its supporters die off. The Democrats do, indeed, have a lock on the future. Why can't they be generous and let President Trump have another term? After all, he could be the last ever Republican president in American history.

Hmm... does that mean we will have higher taxes, higher housing costs and folks camping on the sidewalks?

It might. But it may not matter.
When the radicals took control of the old Democratic National Committee, effectively reorganizing it as the New Democratic Party, the warp speed to the left is leaving a foul taste in the mouths of everyday Americans.
That is going to have an impact on elections.
This scam the NDP is running in D.C. is going to do incredible harm to them. Telling the country to go **** itself while the NDP feeds it addiction was a political screw up of historical proportions.

Here in AZ we already have one dem senator (sort of) and Mark Kelly is leading Martha McSally in polling so far for the other seat. I never would have thought AZ would have two dem senators in my lifetime.
It doesn't. It has it's own New Democratic Party. You Progs created it, and now own the former DNC.

And what is this party and what does it do? Nothing appears to be online ...
Would you consider "Beto" a radical?
The guy who only lost by about 3 points to Ted Cruz in Texas
Beto is the guy who will take your AR-15 away right?
