What will the GOP do?

Me thinks in the near future this will happen

I saw speech by Ted Cruz during the Republican primaries where he addressed that very point. He said that demographics in Texas would turn the state blue soon and that would end the chances forever of a Republican President. His suggestion was that the party engage Hispanics and women.

We know how well Trump did with that suggestion!

1. States like Texas and Arizona will, indeed, soon become blue because the Democratic party fully supports the interests of the growing Hispanic population, which is on track to becoming the majority ethnicity of this country.

2. Eventually, I believe, the Republican party will be reborn as a party that represents the interests of the other ethnicities in this fast changing country.

a. It may, however, eventually never ever again be able to elect a Republican as President or even Senators. (Here in California, for example, the Republicans are, for all intents and purposes, totally irrelevant. As goes California, so goes the nation.)

He is correct

Look at his senate reelection?

He won by only 3 points vs Beto in 2018?

In 2012, Cruz wins by 15 points

Like we haven't heard that one before(LOL)

.

How is this possible when the Democrats have already beat them to the punch?

The GOP will do what both parties always do in a system where two parties have the strong hold . . .

they will simply move in a direction closer to whatever they have to while holding on to select things . . . Yes currently if that happens it will be a huge GOP issue but thats only currently . . .

I wish there was a magical way to get away from the two party system and the strangle hold it has on us all . . when it comes to politics if i could just make some wishes come true party structure and big money involvement is what i would fix first.

I can see where they could attract more hispanic voters if they drop the racists, given that many hispanics aren't so keep on abortion. That could mitigate the need to attract more women voters.

I believe that in the coming decades, the Democratic party will be considered the party of the majority ethnicity (Hispanic people). So the other ethnicities may feel more comfortable finding support for their interests in another party, which may or may not still bear the title of "Republican."

One thing is very clear: Today's Republican party is obviously living on borrowed time, as more and more of its supporters die off. The Democrats do, indeed, have a lock on the future. Why can't they be generous and let President Trump have another term? After all, he could be the last ever Republican president in American history.

As a liberal, I will say one of the biggest problems liberals have is we tend to want to move faster than the greater culture can adsorb. So if we do end in charge, I hope we at least get some good things accomplished for the nation before we inevitably **** it up (and we will).

True

Yes, but remember, Trump wasn't a conservative. It was the white dominated(For now) BLUE states of Penn, Wis and Mich that saved him

Hmm... does that mean we will have higher taxes, higher housing costs and folks camping on the sidewalks?

You betcha

Someone has to pay for all the social workers with your rising Hispanic population

It might. But it may not matter.

When the radicals took control of the old Democratic National Committee, effectively reorganizing it as the New Democratic Party, the warp speed to the left is leaving a foul taste in the mouths of everyday Americans.

That is going to have an impact on elections.

This scam the NDP is running in D.C. is going to do incredible harm to them. Telling the country to go **** itself while the NDP feeds it addiction was a political screw up of historical proportions.

Here in AZ we already have one dem senator (sort of) and Mark Kelly is leading Martha McSally in polling so far for the other seat. I never would have thought AZ would have two dem senators in my lifetime.

With respect to the third point "a", you are correct, except for the final sentence.

California is doomed. It's is going to fail. It will be huge, and it will harm the Nation. That fact will keep the "so goes the Nation" from ever happening.

Citizens in other states will not allow the radical nonsense and corruption that has set the stage for ruin in California, to happen within their borders.

Would you consider "Beto" a radical?

The guy who only lost by about 3 points to Ted Cruz in Texas

Beto is the guy who will take your AR-15 away right?

Surprise!!!!

The"Immigration alarmist" like myself knew it all along

It doesn't. It has it's own New Democratic Party. You Progs created it, and now own the former DNC.

And what is this party and what does it do? Nothing appears to be online ...

We're already at a point where a lot of people want to steer clear of either party. Sorry, but i can't picture that anti-gay rhetoric is going to fly with millenial voters, and they will get their time.

I didn't disagree with your opinion regarding Texas turning blue.

Most Hispanics, according to leadership, have many family members who are illegal aliens.

The NDP panders to Hispanics via it's open border policies. It panders to Hispanics via its sanctuary policies. It's the Hispanic population that is bringing about the voter shift.

The problem is, this population is historically poor.

When the state shifts, as it has in California, the programs used to attract support, (rewarding illegals, welfare, food stamps, etc..) end up cause a dramatic need for more revenue, which leads to higher taxes to pay for the millions of takers who suck up the budget.

Taxes go up, people move out, all that's left are the poor.

That's California's future. It's now unavoidable. When California collapses, that will cause harm, and the reason it did will be clear to everyone outside of it.

That, IMO, will stop the warp speed shift to the left across the Nation.

When people see that socialist Progressivism leads to unsustainable economies and ruin, things will change.
