What would happen if Biden chose Michelle Obama as his running mate?

I agree it's a crazy idea. She's not qualified. But it would electrify his campaign. It would assure his victory.

Think about it. What another VP choice would really make a substantial difference? He mentioned Stacy Abrams and Kamala Harris or Sally Yates. None of them will make an ounce of difference.

I don't know why people keep on bring MO up. She's far too intelligent to be in politics. You have to be someone who loves abuse to want in.

This can't happen. Biden can't double down on old white guy. It has to be a woman after Hillary failed to break the glass ceiling. There's no way around that.

There's only so many swing states, and far as I know, none of these swing states has a female governor or senator.

A big reason Hillary lost Wisconsin and Pennsylvania was low Black turnout in cities like Milwaukee and Philadelphia. Michelle Obama would fix that problem.

She would even help deliver North Carolina, a state only Obama could win.

I didn't know Oprah was a Harvard lawyer with eight years experience at the White House. Any chance you could provide links to this information?

Seeing someone like her in the WH, someone who actually cares about the USA, would be a nice change from the current adminstration.

VP choices never really make a difference. When was the last time a VP (who won) got people excited or drew out of party votes? It’s pretty much always someone from the other side of the party to help sure up turnout for the base.

Well McCain choosing Palin as his running mate lost him an election.

That choice lost my vote...

If Biden were to choose MO then she would need tp prepare herself for a certain amount of unwanted shoulder rubs and hair sniffing. Any female on a Biden ticket should prepare themselves for shoulder rubs and hair sniffing that may not have been asked for.

Michelle wants to be Vice President like she wants a hole in the head.

She will be bidens choice for supreme court.

Who do you think he was talking about when he promised to appoint a black woman to the court???

Well, at least Biden didn't rape his own wife like Trump. He doesn't have 20 women accusing him of all kinds of molestation. He's not on tape bragging about grabbing ******s.

I'm pretty sure she would accept if asked to join in the fight to remove Trump. You can't deny that she would be a much better choice than Stacy Abrams or Kamala Harris. VP picks usually don't matter but this one would.

I would beg her to be on the ticket. Trump would not stand a chance.

She's 100x more qualified that the clown-faced buffoon currently occupying the oval office. She's a successful lawyer, was one of the most popular first ladies ever, and her intellect is much superior to most current politicians, IMO.

She would also be an excellent answer to those worried about Biden's mortality.

To answer your question - if Biden won the nomination and if Michelle joined him as the running mate it would be a landslide victory, not only for the Dems nationally, but for all down-ballot races. Stacy Abrams would be fine as well, but she's not as popular as Michelle.

I'm not saying she wouldn't be an attractive choice for many people, but it's not difficult to find her feelings on the subject. So let me save you ten minutes of googling: she doesn't want the job.

It would be a great choice but I have not noticed her hat in the ring as of yet.

Sometimes you don't enter your hat in the ring. Sometimes you are asked to step up and do your duty when your county and in this case - the world needs you.

Again, she's a Harvard educated attorney with 8 years in the White House. It's not clownish.

The real question is: Would it get him more votes? I think it would fully energize the Black community.

Obama is still the biggest star in the Democratic party. Biden is only successful now because he was the VP. So, why not double down on Obama and have Michelle be the VP.

You're right that you want a VP to deliver you states and votes, but that never works.

Regardless, Biden has to pick a woman. So he can't choose Julian Castro. And I can't think of a well-known Hispanic woman other than *gasp* AOC.

AOC is, literally, unqualified to be vice president. There only a handful of legal qualifications, and she does not meet all of them.

It lost him Nichole Wallace's vote as well and she was one of his campaign advisers!

None of that negates that their is a high possibility that if a woman runs on a Biden ticket she may receive unwanted hair sniffs and shoulder rubs based on decades of such inappropriate behavior by Biden.

I'd rather have my hair sniffed and shoulders rubbed than my genitals grabbed.

Good point. I didn't consider her age. I think she was born in NYC.

With tiny mushroom dick you don't have to choose - you get both!

Let's see. She's not qualified and would be in the #2 spot behind a guy clearly entering senility who might not even finish one term. And you're claiming that would assure his victory? That makes me think our electorate is even worse than I suspected.

She could accept and then resign after the election
