Seriously what the heck, just got back today on a plane from georgia and I flew there thursday morning. I always though georgia was in the south but it was freakin cold in georgia. I almost thought the plane took me up north and the townsfolk were trolling me by putting up a georgia sign, or maybe georgia migrated north and did not inform the country.

Either way with that cold ass weather and wanting to wear a jacket in may, I was begging to return to texas, not a fan of the cold even if it is just for a few day trip for business.

There is a cold snap hitting the east right now.

Blackberry winter came late.

How'd you like Atlanta?

You picked the wrong week to be in the area. Warming back up next week.

And why the hell did you not mention you was in the area?

Drink lots of Sweetwater?

Also, Newnan is like, super close to me. Small world.

it's cold in the midwest, too, after being unseasonably warm for a stretch. we also had a stretch of rain that was nearly continuous from the Wednesday before last until Friday. at least it stopped long enough for us to have a crisp and relatively clear weekend.

Yeah, it's a little cool in the southeast just now. That, and the caterpillars ate my bean seedlings. I clocked one of 'em crawling across the deck, headed due east. I figured he'd get to the coast in late fall if he didn't stop. There I assumed that he'd be eaten by a sea gull, which made me feel better.

In May we usually average around 80 degrees for a high with lows at around 60. What you felt was was very unusual and certainly not the norm for here. There was one day, rainy and cold where the high was 57 and the low 44 a couple of days ago. But today the high is suppose to be 75 degrees, right close to normal and Tuesday it will be close to 90. You just picked the wrong few days.

Whats the weather like their? Do you use the david sling? I do, I have heard iys a real big thing on the (?) baleric islands.

The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plains.

Newnan was pretty nice, close to atlanta without all the atlanta crime. My only problem was the cold, yes the cold i live in the south for a reason.

Funny.. I don't mind cold, and Texas heat was just too hot. I so enjoyed the snow when I got home.

Newnan is about 40 miles due west of me.

I know newnan is about 40 miles west south west of atlanta, so you must be south of atlanta.

Its snowing in Colorado.

El nino brings warm weather, usually it is la nina that brings cold weather, which usually follows an el nino year, el nino is warming of the waters and la nina cooling of the waters.

The aztecs and mayans knew about it, and it's effects have been recorded in medieval europe, where warming in the western hemisphere recorded coincides with weather in europe recorded there around the same years.

All other tropical storms must bow before El Nino!

Only been through there once, but I've got a few friends at school that lived there.

And if you had come this past week, you would have not experienced the cold. It's getting hot. Summer has begun.
