Guess somebody made him go go before they woke him up.
In other news Keith Richards is still rocking.

R.i.p.
its unknown but when someone dies of "pneumonia" at 53 and has had a history of having sex with multiple partners including someone who did die of AIDS, the probabilities are rather high
even dying of natural causes in your 60's seems harsh these days.
great voice; awesome performer. Rest in peace, George Micheal.

Yeah, and I am glad I was willing to give him a second chance since he turned out some great stuff despite his debut with that idiotic "wake me up (before you go go)"
not really my thing, but it's a well crafted and excellently performed pop song. very talented singer and performer.
Nope, his sex life didn'y kill him.
I called it, they are saying heart disease. It's almost always heart and diet related at this age. if it's natural
take care of yourselves, guys
Doesn't AIDS cause heart problems?

I don't know. you seem pretty keen to pin AIDS on the dude. He's dead

when a 53 year old man who doesn't have a history of serious other potentially fatal conditions suddenly dies and has a history of promiscuous gay sex including having a relationship with a man who did die of AIDS its a reasonable suspicion. Especially since his one stated medical trauma in the past was pneumonia which is accentuated, in seriousness, by those who have compromised immune systems. I remember in 1981, when I was a first year law student, I would read the NYT every sunday in the law library. And after several months I started wondering why the obituary section had some many young and middle aged men dying of "pneumonia". Having had, by the time was a 22, viral, and bacterial pneumonia I asked a doctor I knew at the University what was going on and he noted that there were suspicions that some sort of immunity compromising issue was hitting gay men. It of course was later called AIDS
by their late 40's early 50s a lot of mean start having heart attacks as well.
yeah I know-Arthur Ashe had one at 36 or so and one of my best friends in HS died 48 from one. But until we know the COD for GM, speculation will continue. And I think we both know that lots of things that kill people are often called "heart attacks" because its true your heart always stops when you die
I wouldn't doubt that he had a combination of issues.
But no matter the cause, we lost a great talent.
There is a pretty good debate topic sadly for 2016
Who was the most talented musician to die this year
Keith Emerson
Paul Kantner
Prince
David Bowie
Greg Lake
George Michael
and several others
all on that list have strong arguments in their favor.
I'd say Prince, because he's the only one on that list who I've really listened to before.
