when i was a kid, i thought that joining the NRA was cool. these days, i wouldn't even take a **** on their front step. they are apologists for right wing extremists now.
 
I think you are confusing “civil rights” and “civil liberties.” I’m not anti 2A, I’m anti NRA.

The 2nd Amendment is a civil right.

It's pretty hard to claim to be pro-2A, while being anti-NRA and voting for anti-2A politicians.

what is really pathetic is that people who are not members-who don't give the NRA money, and whose ulterior motives are based on a hatred of gun rights, act as if their opinions about this group has any relevance whatsoever.
 
Wrong. The Constitution gives you the right to own a firearm.

You are incorrect. The constitution never gave the federal government the power to prevent us from owning guns. What the COURTS did is to apply that to the State Governments.

Just about anyone who votes for-or favors politicians who are hostile to gun rights, is (even if they themselves are not anti gun)

Actually the NRA is too willing to compromise with gun banners. One has to be pretty far left to use the term Right Wing Extremist with the NRA

Define "nutter" in legal terms that can be codified into law.

If the government cannot prevent you from buying or owning one gun, it doesn't suddenly get the power to prevent you from owning or buying ANOTHER gun. That is how a negative restriction works.
 
Wayne has got to go and that is one of the reasons why Im shifting more towards the GOA (Gun Owners of America).
