Warning! There is immediate danger - set aside lots of money now for climate research

We're doomed, so let's do nothing. So typical. Everything the right doesn't like we should just ignore.

According to early global warming propagandists we had less than 10 years to cure the weather, and that was 20 years ago. Now we have 12 years, according to deluded baby legislators still struggling to learn how to believe and act in the real adult world.

I used to wonder how Snake Oil salesman could find suckers, until I saw Republicans and climate science, believing the fossil fuel companies over the scientists. That's even worse than falling for snake oil.

Democrat snake oil salesman: 'Come one, come all and receive our miracle weather cure before its too late! For less than $30 trillion dollars we promise to provide the miracle weather cure which will save the planet. But you must hurry. We have only 12 years left to heal the weather before we all die miserable deaths.'

Hmm...., Obama and Michele seem to differ in their evaluation. They just purchased a home in Martha's Vineyard for $15 million. Why by something that will supposedly be under water in several years according to Climate Change guru's and PMS/DSA Leftist Green Deal enthusiasts. Kinda flies in the face of their ideology. Eh?

And people still don't know how democrat politicians get filthy rich while supposedly serving the people.

How about the Brazilian government under their new leader do something? Instead he has swept away all legislation aimed at protecting this precious resource, and allowed uncontrolled slash and burn and illegal logging to flourish.
This a global, not simply a national issue. The rainforest not only acts as a CO2 sink, but provides you with oxygen to breathe.

Why are rainforests important?

I don't know if you heard this, but the far-right president is calling for the destruction of the rainforests, and reporters found farmers who said they started these fires intentionally in support of the president's call for the destruction of the forests.

Wouldn't surprise me. The man is about as dumb as Trump with his 'raking' comment.

That is exactly what climate science is snake oil.
If you actually believe in real science and scientific process than u suggest staying away from climate science because it comes no where close.

European countries are threatening to refuse trade deals with Brazil to protest his calls for the destruction of the rainforests. Thank goodness for European democracy and values so there are some left.

Strangely the burning of the Brazilian jungle has been going on for decades. So what's new? Just something more to crib about....

Amazon fire: the rainforest is burning, but the photos you're seeing are probably decades old
Fires have long been an issue in the Amazon. Since the 1970s, Brazil has cut and burned around 20 per cent of the forest – an area larger than Texas – The Intercept recorded. It is .

Obviously you're too young to know this. I'm not saying that it is right to do this. What I'm pointing out that it is nothing new.. The Brazilian gov't should be and has to be held accountable for the destruction.

Such ignorance. Of COURSE deforestation has long been a crisis. The fire going now isn't simply 'no big deal, more of the usual'. We agree I'd like to see the Brazilian president held accountable. But we have his buddy in our White House so it's not going to happen from us. Thank goodness for Europe who might do something, again.

So what did your messiah do to stop the deforestation and indiscriminate burning of the Brazilian jungle between 2009 and 2016? Nothing!! Suddenly you're claiming that it's Trump's responsibility. That's Bovine Scat.... If there's ignorance on any level here, it's your ignorance. If anyone can do anything about the burning, it's the UN, but there's the rub they do nothing and continue to rely on the U.S. to support them while trying to bring America to it's knees.

No, the ignorance is yours.

Obama didn't do enough, the US can do more, and all you post is whataboutism trying to shift to Obama.

We are not the World's policemen.... If you're claiming Obama didn't do enough, tell us what he did do? In my opinion, he did nada, zip, zero about the Brazilian deforestation. Prove what you are claiming....
