Born in Zhytomyr on 3 December 1972. Joined the army in 2014 and served in 95th Separate Paratrooper Brigade.

Oleg Bokoch 23 y.o., a military junior-sergeant and medic born in Mykolayivka, Poltava Oblast, was killed by a shell fragment
while saving a wounded soldier in Avdiivka on 13 May 2018. Enlisted after medical school and served in the 95th Assault Brigade.

Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) council member Pınar Aydınlar who is also a famous folk singer, was arrested on Tuesday
immediately upon her arrival at İstanbul Atatürk Airport from Germany. Pinar was convicted of “disseminating terrorist propaganda”
in an election campaign speech in 2015 and sentenced to 10 months in prison. She is currently being held in the Bakırköy
Women’s Prison in İstanbul. She will join the many tens of thousands of political prisoners and journalists in Erdogan's overcrowded gulag.

Denys Ostroushko was KIA in the JFO war zone on 12 May 2018 in eastern Ukraine. Born on 31 Aug 1995, Denys lived in Selidove,
Donetsk Oblast. He was deployed to the eastern Ukraine war zone in autumn of 2017.

Every third Thursday in May (yesterday) is Vyshyvanka Day in Ukraine. A vyshyvanka is the traditional embroidered blouse/shirt worn by both males and females.
The embroidered patterns signify a particular region or city. Vyshyvanka Day signals the unofficial beginning of spring.

A Russian 122mm artillery shell struck this rural home yesterday (17 May 2018) in the town of Troyitske, Luhansk Oblast.
A 13 y.o. boy and his father were killed. Mother and another son were injured and medevaced.
