When you vote for a political party that says they will abandon their constituents to die, then they do it, it’s not “schadenfreude”.

Every parent knows that, sometimes, a child who refuses to listen may need to, instead, learn by feeling the natural consequences of their actions.

So what you are seeing is, everyone’s pointing out how, yes, republicans wanted NO flood warning systems from democratic administrations that offered them. They hated Obama, and they hated Biden, who both tried to help them. While Trump didn’t lift a finger for them.

But you’re playing the victimhood card to avoid the emotional weight of those natural consequences. Which I understand, must be pretty painful to be responsible for electing leaders who push policy that kills Americans.

Why is it you think that should apply to flooding, which by its nature is random and an act of God but you feel illegal immigration is hunky dory? A human created condition that can be avoided rather easily.

Some good news...

The number of people missing in Texas Hill Country following the deadly flooding which struck the region over the Fourth of July holiday weekend has plummeted significantly, officials announced Saturday.

The Kerr County Flood Disaster Joint Information Center determined that three people are still missing from the floods, the city of Kerrville said in a news release. That is a sharp drop from the approximately 100 people authorities had previously said were unaccounted for.

"Through extensive follow-up work among state and local agencies, many individuals who were initially reported as missing have been verified as safe and removed from the list," the city said in its news release. "This has been an ongoing effort as investigators worked diligently to verify reports of missing persons and confirm their status."
